TL;DR: For remote work from the Philippines, combine a Filipino-focused site (OnlineJobs.ph for virtual assistants and support roles, Kalibrr for local employers with remote and work-from-home options) with boards that show where an employer can hire (Himalayas, Remotive, Working Nomads). On 30 September 2026 our index held 49,928 live remote postings, and 1,990 of them (4.0%) can hire in the Philippines. 1,378 of those say they hire anywhere, and 340 name the Philippines.
The problem: a long list of remote jobs, a short list that can hire you
Much remote work for Filipinos comes from two places: sites built for hiring Filipino talent, and global remote jobs whose employers have not said whether they can hire in the Philippines. The first group is easy to find. The second is bigger and harder to read, so the useful question about a board is whether it shows where the employer can hire.
What our index shows for the Philippines
All figures come from our index of live remote postings that employers published themselves on their own careers pages or hiring systems, counted on 30 September 2026. Copies on other job boards are not counted, and sites such as OnlineJobs.ph are not part of it. The method is on our page about how we check every job, and the same kind of figures, with definitions, sit on our remote job market stats page.
| Measured on 30 September 2026 | Postings | Share |
| Live remote postings in the index | 49,928 | 100% of all |
| Open to a candidate in the Philippines | 1,990 | 4.0% of all |
| ...that say they hire anywhere | 1,378 | 69.2% of those |
| ...that name the Philippines | 340 | 17.1% of those |
| ...that reach the Philippines through a region label such as APAC | 272 | 13.7% of those |
| Can hire only in the United States | 10,512 | 21.1% of all |
| Do not say where they can hire | 24,279 | 48.6% of all |
More than two in three postings open to the Philippines get there because the employer says it hires anywhere, and only 17.1% name the country. Our page of remote jobs open to candidates in the Philippines runs all three searches in one list, and our guide to remote jobs in the Philippines covers the local side.
Pay and professions
18.5% of the postings open to the Philippines show a pay figure (368 postings), against 60.0% of those open to the United States. Among those 368, the middle of the stated ranges was $150,000 a year. That is what employers advertise, in US dollars, and it includes worldwide postings often priced for the employer's home market, so it is not a salary a Filipino employer pays. Our page on geographic pay bands explains why pay for the same job can differ by country.
| Profession label in our index | Open postings | Share |
| Marketing Manager | 146 | 7.3% |
| Operations | 115 | 5.8% |
| Product Manager | 73 | 3.7% |
| Platform Engineer | 58 | 2.9% |
| Backend Developer | 55 | 2.8% |
| Security Engineer | 51 | 2.6% |
| Project Manager | 50 | 2.5% |
| Account Manager | 49 | 2.5% |
Boards for remote jobs in the Philippines
We opened each site on 30 September 2026 and report what its own pages say. Where a page did not state something, we say so. Upwork, JobStreet, Indeed Philippines, Bossjob, FlexJobs and We Work Remotely did not load for our check, so they are not listed.
OnlineJobs.ph
A site built for hiring Filipino talent, remote only. Employers hire virtual assistants, designers, social media people, SEO staff and writers, and most of its customers are small businesses. The pricing page lists employer plans only: Free for 3 jobs, PRO at $69 a month or $299 a year, and Premium at $99 a month or $349 a year, and it claims no salary markups. What a job seeker pays is not stated on that page. For assistant roles beyond this site, see the best remote job boards for executive assistants.
Kalibrr
A Philippines job site with "Remote Jobs" and "WFH" options and city filters such as Makati and Pasig. It targets fresh graduates and junior to mid-senior roles in IT, sales, marketing and finance. Its mobile app is described as free, and no other pricing is stated.
Himalayas
Filters for time zone and location, and each listing shows the countries the employer can hire in, for example "Philippines only". Its Philippines page listed 5,386 remote jobs on the day we checked. It is free for job seekers, with an optional paid plan.
Remotive
A location filter that includes "Worldwide", "Europe" and "USA". The free view shows only a small part of the listings (the site says 0.4%), and a paid membership unlocks the rest.
Working Nomads
Region filters include APAC, and there are more than 20 country filters. Its FAQ says some employers require a specific region or country. It is free to browse and apply, with an optional Premium plan.
Wellfound
A startup job marketplace with remote job pages, always free for candidates. We did not find a Philippines filter.
Its remote jobs page for the Philippines showed more than 7,000 roles on the day we checked. Job search has no fees for applicants, and you must sign in to see full details. The listings did not state where each employer can hire.

How to read a location line from the Philippines
- "Anywhere" or "Worldwide": open to you. Check the body for a time-zone requirement.
- "APAC": Asia and the Pacific together, so it can include the Philippines, but check the posting's own country list. See what APAC means in a job posting.
- "Philippines" or "Southeast Asia": the best sign, because the employer has thought about your market.
- "US only" or "Remote (United States)": closed unless you relocate. Read what "remote, US only" means.
- Nothing at all: 48.6% of postings in our index say nothing about where they hire. Ask before you apply.
Time zones, pay and safety
The Philippines is UTC+8 all year with no daylight saving. A 9:00 a.m. start in New York is 9:00 p.m. in Manila while US daylight time applies and 10:00 p.m. otherwise, so ask what overlap a team expects before you accept. Our explainer on time-zone overlap covers the usual ask, and Asia-Pacific teams line up with your day much more easily.
Once an employer can hire in the Philippines, ask whether you would be an independent contractor, an employee of a local entity, or an employee of an employer of record. Our guide to contractor vs employee remote jobs explains the difference in take-home pay and protections. A real employer never asks you to pay to apply or to buy equipment before you are hired, and our list of remote work red flags covers the patterns.
Where RemoteHunt fits
RemoteHunt is not a board you post on. It reads live remote postings from employers' own careers pages and job boards, checks where each one says it can hire, and scores the ones that can hire you from 0 to 100 against your resume, with a written reason. If you have no resume, it builds one with you. It is free to start and you never pay to apply. Use the boards above to browse, and use RemoteHunt to find which postings can hire in the Philippines and how well each one fits you. The 90-day pass ($29 once, no renewal, 14-day refund) opens the company and apply link on every match.
