Terms of Service

By accessing or using RemoteHunt ("Service"), available at remotehunt.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

RemoteHunt is operated by Egor Aizen, an individual based in Israel ("we", "us"). How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

RemoteHunt is an AI-powered job search tool for remote work. It collects remote job postings from public sources, reads each one — including where the employer can hire from, and the level and languages it asks for — and ranks the postings against your resume and preferences, explaining each match score. It also offers:

• Tailored cover letters and resumes for a specific posting, and an AI coach
• An application tracker for the jobs you save and apply to
• Emails about your matches, which you can turn off
• A Chrome extension that checks, on a job posting you are viewing, whether the employer hires in your country and how well you fit, saves the job to your tracker, and fills in application forms on supported sites

The extension is part of the Service and these Terms apply to it. It never submits an application for you: it only fills in fields, and you decide whether to press the site's own button to send it. Check what it filled in before you do.

RemoteHunt is a software tool that assists with job searching. It does not apply to jobs for you. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, or any specific outcome from using the Service. We are not a recruitment agency, staffing firm, or employment service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Payments are processed through Creem (creem.io), our third-party Merchant of Record. Creem is the seller of record for your purchase: it handles payment processing, tax collection, and invoicing, and the prices and terms shown at checkout apply to your purchase. For buyers in Europe the price is in euros and includes VAT; elsewhere Creem adds any sales tax or VAT that applies at checkout. By purchasing, you also agree to Creem's terms of service.

• Free tier: No card required. Includes a weekly-refreshed feed (your first scan reads the 400 postings closest to your resume), your five best matches fully open, 3 tailored cover letters a week, and 3 tailored resumes and 50 AI coach messages a month, within daily limits that protect the Service from abuse.
• The pass (  one-time, for 90 days): A single payment, not a subscription. It opens the company name and the direct link on every match, reads up to 1,000 of the postings closest to your resume right after purchase, switches your re-scan to daily, and raises the tool limits to 30 tailored cover letters, 10 tailored resumes and 75 AI coach messages a month. Features as described on the billing page at time of purchase.
• No automatic renewal: the pass does not renew, and no payment method is stored. Buying again while a pass is active adds 90 days to its expiry rather than starting a second one.
• Right of withdrawal: you may withdraw from a pass purchase within 14 days of payment, from the billing page. Withdrawal ends pass access immediately, and we refund the full purchase price to the card or other payment method you used. We issue the refund within 1 business day of your withdrawal (and in any case no later than 14 days after it); your bank or card issuer then typically shows it on your statement in 5–10 business days.
• Existing subscriptions: Pro and Pro+ are no longer sold. If you hold one, it continues on its existing terms and renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel it, which you may do at any time from Settings; access continues until the end of your current paid period.
• Extra tailored resumes: packs of 20 or 100 tailored resumes, a single payment. They are used only after your monthly tailored resumes run out and they never expire; a resume we could not make is not counted, within daily limits that protect the Service from abuse. Packs are not refundable, except where the law of your country gives you a right to withdraw. In the EU, the EEA, the UK, Israel, South Korea and Turkey you may withdraw from a pack within 14 days of payment, from the billing page: if you have not used any resume from it, we refund the full price; if you have, and you asked at checkout for the resumes to be available right away and we confirmed that request to you by email, we refund the price of the resumes you have not used (otherwise the full price). In Brazil you may withdraw within 7 days of payment for a full refund. Withdrawal ends the pack immediately. A full refund of a pack you have not used is issued at once; any other refund within 1 business day of your withdrawal (and in any case no later than 14 days after it); your bank or card issuer then typically shows it on your statement in 5–10 business days. Nothing in this paragraph limits the rights the law of your country gives you.
• We may change prices and plan quotas. A new price applies only to purchases made after it is published, a change to a plan's quotas is announced 30 days ahead, and no change reduces what a pass you have already bought includes.

You keep ownership of everything you give the Service — your resume, profile, preferences, notes and the texts you write or edit ("User Content"). You give us a limited permission to store and process it only to run the Service for you: to read your resume, to find, score and explain jobs, to draft the documents you ask for, and to send you the emails you have not turned off. Our service providers process it on our behalf for the same purpose — for example, the AI models that read your resume. They are listed in our Privacy Policy.

We never send your resume or profile to employers or recruiters, and we never sell it. The Service does not apply to jobs for you: when you decide to apply, you do it yourself, on the employer's own site.

Only upload content that you have the right to use.

The Service uses AI to read job postings, score them against your profile, explain the scores, and draft cover letters, tailored resumes and coach answers. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate suggestions
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before use
• AI-generated cover letters, resumes and other outputs are suggestions, not final documents
• You should not submit AI-generated content to employers without reviewing it first
• The Service hides postings that it reads as unable to hire you — for example, because the employer hires only in other countries, or asks for another language, level or profession. This reading is automatic and can be wrong. You can update the details it uses in your profile and Settings, and ask for a person to review a result by writing to privacy@remotehunt.app.

Job listings are collected from public third-party sources: employers' own careers pages and job boards. We may shorten, summarize or reformat a listing with AI. We do not:

• Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing
• Verify the legitimacy of employers or job postings
• Guarantee that listed positions are still available
• Have any relationship with the employers whose listings appear

You are responsible for verifying the legitimacy of any job opportunity before applying or sharing personal information with an employer.

For employers. If a listing of yours appears on RemoteHunt and you want it corrected or removed, write to legal@remotehunt.app with a link to it, and we will act on it promptly.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Use the Service to prepare false or misleading applications
• Use the Service to send bulk or automated applications to employers
• Open several accounts, or share one, to get around the Service's limits
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
• Use automated tools to scrape data from the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure

The Service itself — its code, scoring, texts, branding and design — belongs to us. Job listings belong to their publishers, and your User Content belongs to you. Your account, and any pass you buy, gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own job search.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your job applications, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including removing job sources, changing AI models, or modifying features. If we stop the Service, or remove something that a pass you have already bought includes, while that pass is active, we will refund the unused part of its price in proportion to the days left. Beyond that refund, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for modifying, suspending or discontinuing the Service.

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in Settings → Privacy. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, so download your data there first. Deleting your account does not by itself refund a pass: to get a refund, withdraw from the billing page first (Section 5).

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms. If we close your account while a pass is active for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the unused part of the pass, and we will let you download your data first unless the law or the security of the Service prevents it.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If something goes wrong, please write to us first at legal@remotehunt.app — most problems can be solved that way. Otherwise, a dispute may be brought before the competent courts of Israel.

If you use the Service as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country instead. If we ever need to bring a claim against you as a consumer, we will do so in the courts of the country where you live.

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with its date and, at least 14 days before a change that reduces your rights takes effect, tell you by email or in the Service. A change does not apply to a pass bought before it takes effect, unless the change is in your favor. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.

If you use the Service as a consumer, the law of the country where you live may give you rights that a contract cannot take away. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

If a court finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer these Terms to a company that takes over running the Service (for example, if RemoteHunt is incorporated); we will tell you before that happens, and it will not reduce your rights.
