Best Remote Job Boards for Customer Success Managers (2026)

Remote customer success job boards compared, from TopCSJobs to Himalayas, plus our count: 2.0% of 693 postings said they hire worldwide on 3 October 2026.

TL;DR: For remote customer success manager jobs, combine a board built for the role (TopCSJobs or the Gain Grow Retain job board) with remote boards that show where each employer hires (Working Nomads, Himalayas, Remotive, We Work Remotely), then add Built In and Wellfound for tech companies and startups and LinkedIn for volume. Read the location line before the title: on 3 October 2026 our index held 693 live remote customer success postings from employers' own careers pages, and only 2.0% of them said they hire worldwide.

What is different about a customer success search

Customer success is not customer support. Support resolves tickets; success owns accounts, renewals and expansion. For the support side, see our job boards for customer support.

Three things shape the search:

  • The title varies. Search "customer success", "client success" and "CSM". In our index, the Customer Success Manager label covers customer success managers, client success managers, customer success associates and specialists, and customer success leaders.
  • Many boards have no category for it. We Work Remotely and Remotive file these roles under customer support or customer service.
  • The role follows the customers. Most postings name a country or a region; our numbers are below.

A real employer never asks you to pay to apply, for training or for equipment.

Board by board

We opened each site in October 2026 and report what its own pages showed.

TopCSJobs

TopCSJobs lists customer success roles only: more than 160 remote ones when we checked in October 2026. It is free, says it syncs roles from each employer's own hiring system every day, and uses specific labels such as "Remote (US Only)" or "Remote - EMEA".

Gain Grow Retain job board

The Gain Grow Retain job board belongs to a community for customer success leaders. Anyone can browse it, and it has a remote category. Some featured listings were marked "Members only" when we checked in October 2026.

Working Nomads

Working Nomads has a Customer Success category that is separate from Customer Service, plus pages by region (Africa, APAC, Latin America and others) and by country. The public board is free; paid Premium adds more postings, filters and alerts.

We Work Remotely

We Work Remotely files these roles under Customer Support. When we checked in October 2026, several listings there were customer success manager roles labeled "Anywhere in the World". Read past the label: a listing with "Canada (Toronto)" in the title carried it too. Its FAQ says a free Basic account lets you browse and save jobs, and a paid Pro plan adds job applications; listings marked Boosted take applications without a subscription.

Remotive

Remotive puts customer success roles in its customer service category, each with a location tag such as USA, Spain or Mexico. The free view shows a small part of the board; a paid membership opens the rest.

Himalayas

Himalayas states the country restriction on its customer success listings: "United States only", "Mexico only", "Philippines only", or a list of countries. Searching and applying are free; paid plans add AI tools for resumes and interview practice.

Built In

Built In lists customer success jobs at tech companies. On the first page we read in October 2026, more than half of the 30 listings showed a pay range and every one was in the United States. "Remote or Hybrid" and "In-Office or Remote" labels are not fully remote.

Wellfound

Wellfound covers startups. Its remote customer success page showed more than 150 results when we checked in October 2026. Listings we saw gave a salary, sometimes equity, and a label such as "Remote only" with India or "Everywhere". Applying is free for candidates, the company says.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn is the volume source: its public search page showed more than 6,000 remote customer success manager jobs in the United States when we checked in October 2026. The results we saw still named a US city, so read every location line.

What our index shows for customer success managers

Our figures come from our index of live remote postings that employers published themselves on their own careers pages or hiring systems: 49,544 postings on 3 October 2026, copies on job boards not counted. "All professions" is the 32,631 postings our index has sorted by profession. See how we check every job.

Most postings say where they hire. 548 of the 693 postings (79.1%) give a list of countries or regions, and 18.9% say nothing, against 24.8% across all professions.

Careers pages hold more than half. Counting job boards as well, our index held 1,244 live customer success postings on 3 October 2026: 692 (55.6%) on employers' own careers pages and 549 (44.1%) seen only through job boards. Samsara, ServiceNow, ElevenLabs, GitLab and Instructure had postings under this label on 3 October 2026. The live list is on our remote customer success manager jobs page.

Few customer success roles are open worldwide

On 3 October 2026, 14 of the 693 postings (2.0%) said they hire worldwide, half the 4.0% share across all professions. Of the 44 professions with 200 or more postings in our index, customer success ranks 38th on this measure; only six rank lower, among them Account Executive at 0.5%. Meanwhile, 40.4% list only the United States and/or Canada, against 35.7% across all professions.

The reason is the work. A CSM runs calls, reviews and renewals with a set of customers, so the employer wants someone in those customers' time zone and language. Our explainer on time zone overlap shows how teams set these hours. A posting that does not say where it hires is not "worldwide": ask before you apply.

If you live outside North America

Postings that say they can hire in a country, worldwide or through a list that includes it, on 3 October 2026. Postings that say nothing are not counted.

The United States has more than six times as many as India (274 against 42). So search for roles that cover your own region (EMEA, APAC, LATAM): titles such as "Customer Success Manager - EMEA" and "Customer Success Manager, Enterprise, APAC" appear in our index. Our guide to what APAC means in a job posting explains which countries it usually covers, and our page of remote jobs that can hire in India runs the country search across all professions.

Ask how you would be paid, too: of the 484 postings that state an employment type, 429 are full-time and 47 are contractor roles.

What customer success postings ask for

Expect retention and expansion numbers, not ticket counts: net revenue retention, renewal rate and the size of the book of accounts you managed. Put them at the top of your resume, with the segment you covered, such as mid-market or enterprise. If your work is closer to a renewal and upsell quota, compare our job boards for account managers. For how customer success teams hire, read our guide to remote customer success jobs.

Pay and level

On 3 October 2026, 44.0% of customer success postings stated a pay figure, close to the 42.4% across all professions, so more than half do not. For pay ranges, see our customer success manager salary page. RepVue also lists customer success manager jobs, next to what sales staff report about pay at each company.

The field leans mid-level: 34.1% of postings, against 23.8% across all professions. Another 42.9% are senior or above, and 49 postings (7.1%) are junior or internship.

Where RemoteHunt fits

RemoteHunt is not a board you post on. It reads live remote postings from employers' own careers pages and job boards, checks where each one says it can hire, and scores the ones that can hire you from 0 to 100 against your resume, with a written reason. If you have no resume, it builds one with you. It is free to start and you never pay to apply. The 90-day pass ($29 once, no renewal, 14-day refund) opens the company and apply link on every match.

FAQ

What is the best job board for remote customer success manager jobs?

No single board covers the field. Start with TopCSJobs or the Gain Grow Retain job board for customer success roles, then add Working Nomads, Himalayas, Remotive and We Work Remotely, which show where each employer hires. Check careers pages too: counting job boards as well, 55.6% of the 1,244 live customer success postings in our index on 3 October 2026 were on employers' own careers pages.

Are remote customer success jobs open worldwide?

Few are. On 3 October 2026, 14 of the 693 live remote customer success postings in our index (2.0%) said they hire worldwide, against 4.0% across all professions, and 40.4% listed only the United States and/or Canada. Another 18.9% did not say where they hire, which is not the same as worldwide.

Can I get a remote customer success job from India or the Philippines?

Yes, but the pool is small. On 3 October 2026, 42 of the 693 live remote customer success postings in our index (6.1%) said they can hire in India and 45 (6.5%) in the Philippines, against 274 (39.5%) for the United States. Roles that cover APAC customers are the closest fit.

Is customer success the same as customer support?

No. Customer support resolves tickets and conversations; customer success owns accounts, renewals and expansion. Some boards file both under customer support, so search by title: "customer success", "client success" or "CSM".

How can RemoteHunt help me find remote customer success manager jobs?

RemoteHunt checks where each live remote posting says it can hire and scores the ones open to you against your resume from 0 to 100, with a written reason for each score. That covers customer success postings from employers' own careers pages and job boards, and it is free to start.
