We count the live remote jobs we find on employers' own career sites. This edition shows how many of them could hire someone in each country on the day we counted. Its numbers do not change.

A country name in green opens its jobs. The United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands have no page of their own yet.
In 18 of these 24 countries, most jobs that can hire there are the 1,822 that say anywhere.

How often remote jobs show pay
Among the jobs that can hire someone in each country, the share that shows a pay range or amount. We measured it for 10 countries.
Jobs open to the United States show pay more than twice as often as jobs open to the other nine.
Some US states require a pay range in job ads. We did not test whether that explains the gap.
Most common profession labels
20,194 jobs carry no profession label we can read. The shares below are out of all jobs.

- The live remote jobs we find on employers' own career sites. Copies on job boards are left out.
- A job
- One posting. A posting that lists several countries counts once in each of them.
- This edition
- Counted on 22 October 2026 from 53,145 jobs. The edition does not change.
- Can hire someone in a country
- The job says it can hire anywhere. Or its list of countries or regions includes that country.
- Names the country
- The list names the country itself, such as "Nigeria".
- Through a region
- The list names a region that includes the country, such as "Africa" or "EMEA".
- Says anywhere
- The job says it can hire anywhere, or it says only "Remote" and nothing in it limits where.
- No place stated
- We could not tell from the job where it can hire. We count it for no country.
- Shows pay
- The job carries a pay range or amount. Hourly-only pay is not counted.
