  • IT Asset Management: Maintain an inventory of company software, hardware, licences, subscriptions, costs, and renewal dates, ensuring critical tools remain operational and properly maintained.

  • Identity & Access Management: Own employee provisioning and deprovisioning, SSO configuration, authentication policies, access permissions, and regular access reviews across company systems.

  • Network Security: Manage secure remote access to internal systems and infrastructure through VPNs, zero-trust access solutions, and appropriate device and network security controls.

  • Security Policies & Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide security policies covering access control, acceptable use, data handling, incident response, and vendor risk management.

  • Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Establish security monitoring and alerting across identity, endpoints, and SaaS applications, and coordinate incident response when security issues arise.

  • Security Awareness: Implement security awareness initiatives, including onboarding training, phishing simulations, and best practices around password management and data protection.

  • Compliance & Audits: Drive the company's compliance roadmap, supporting frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIS2. Coordinate internal controls, documentation, evidence collection, and audit preparation.

  • Customer Security Requirements: Prepare and maintain security documentation, policies, technical overviews, and reusable responses to enterprise customer security questionnaires and assessments.

  • Vendor Risk Management: Evaluate the security practices of external software providers and IT vendors, ensuring they meet the company's operational and security requirements.

  • Internal IT Support: Act as the primary point of contact for internal IT issues, troubleshooting technical problems and coordinating with external providers when necessary.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 years of experience owning IT operations and security responsibilities within a company of approximately 50–500 employees, ideally in a cloud, SaaS, or infrastructure environment.

  • Strong hands-on experience administering Google Workspace, including SSO, SAML/OIDC, two-factor authentication, groups, organizational units, and data protection controls.

  • Experience managing devices across macOS, Windows, and Linux using MDM or endpoint management solutions such as Jamf, Kandji, Microsoft Intune, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of identity and access management, including SCIM provisioning, least-privilege access, access reviews, and password management.

  • Experience securing remote workforce access through VPNs, zero-trust network access solutions, DNS, and related technologies.

  • Practical experience implementing or maintaining at least one security and compliance framework, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or NIS2.

  • Understanding of endpoint security, identity monitoring, security alerting, and incident response processes.

  • Ability to automate IT administration and operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to write clear security policies, operational procedures, and customer-facing security responses.

  • Comfortable taking ownership of an IT and security function, establishing processes, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluent English.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.

  • Experience securing production environments, bare-metal infrastructure, or GPU fleets within a cloud or hosting provider.

  • Experience handling enterprise and public-sector security reviews, security questionnaires, and third-party risk assessments.

  • Familiarity with security requirements and standards such as SecNumCloud and HDS.

  • Experience with EDR, SIEM, and security monitoring platforms.

  • Knowledge of confidential computing, tenant isolation, AMD SEV-SNP, Intel TDX, or hardware-based attestation.

  • Experience building IT and security processes within a startup or scale-up experiencing rapid growth.

  • Strong familiarity with AI tools and their practical application in IT administration and security operations.
