Best Remote Job Boards for Business Analysts (2026)

Where to find remote business analyst jobs in 2026: IIBA, Himalayas, Wellfound, Dice and more, with data from 800 live postings on employers' own careers pages.

TL;DR: For remote business analyst jobs, start with the IIBA Career Center, which lists only business analysis jobs, then add Himalayas and Wellfound for labels that show where a role can hire, Dice for contracts, and Working Nomads for a region on each listing. On 6 October 2026 our index held 800 live remote business analyst postings on employers' own careers pages; 19.0% were junior or internship level, and 32.5% listed only the United States.

What is different about this search

A business analyst is hired for a domain as much as for a skill. The same title covers health insurance, life sciences, finance, revenue operations and software, and a posting often asks for years in one of them. Name your domain in every search ("healthcare business analyst", "life sciences business analyst"), and repeat it with each title variant: systems analyst, functional analyst, business consultant, product owner.

Titles overlap with neighbouring roles. If you also work with data, see our job boards for data analysts, and for the role that owns a product backlog, browse remote product owner openings. For skills and career paths, read our guide to remote business analyst jobs.

Board by board

IIBA Career Center

The IIBA Career Center belongs to the International Institute of Business Analysis, the association behind the CBAP certificate. It calls itself a business analysis job board, and it lets you upload a resume for a free review. We did not see a job count or a remote filter on its home page when we checked in October 2026, so search it for "remote" and read each location.

Modern Analyst

Modern Analyst is a long-running community for business analysts and systems analysts, with articles, forums and a job board. When we checked in October 2026, the job board asked us to register first; registration is free. It is a place to read how other analysts describe the work, as well as to look for jobs.

Himalayas

Himalayas listed 3,916 remote business analyst jobs when we checked in October 2026. You can filter by experience level, and creating a profile is free. The page said most of the roles it showed were limited to one place, mostly the United States, with some for Canada, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Panama, so read each label.

Wellfound

Wellfound showed 257 remote business analyst results across nine pages when we checked in October 2026. Listings carry pay ranges, and the places included the United States, remote-only roles and India-based roles paid in rupees.

Dice

Dice is a technology job site. A search for "business analyst" with its remote setting returned 234 results when we checked in October 2026. Listings were full-time, contract or third-party contract, with rates from about $40 an hour to $140,000 a year. Many mentioned work authorization, and the topics we saw were healthcare payer operations, Salesforce and Agile.

Working Nomads

Working Nomads has a page for business analyst jobs and says it lists fully remote roles including business, data and systems analyst. It offers region filters (North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, APAC, Anywhere) and country filters such as India and the Philippines. The public board is free; a Premium plan is paid.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn is the volume source. A signed-out search for remote business analyst jobs showed more than 11,000 results for the United States when we checked in October 2026. Add your domain and "remote" to the search words, and sign in to set alerts.

Also checked. We Work Remotely refused our request when we checked, and Remotive's pages we opened showed no business analyst category, so we do not rate either for this role.

What our index shows for business analysts

These figures come from our index of live remote postings that employers published themselves on their own careers pages or hiring systems: 49,157 postings on 6 October 2026, with copies on job boards not counted (see how we check every job). The Business Analyst label is one profession label in our index. "All professions" is the 32,480 postings our index has sorted by profession.

Measure, 6 October 2026Business AnalystAll professions

Junior or internship19.0% (152)8.2% (2,671)
Mid-level30.4%24.0%
Senior or above45.8%58.1%

It is a large profession. Business Analyst is the twelfth-largest profession in our index, with 800 live postings on 6 October 2026. See current remote business analyst openings.

Fewer postings state pay. On 6 October 2026, 36.2% stated a pay figure of any kind, against 42.3% across all professions; it ranks 36th of the 44 professions with 200 or more postings. For ranges, see our business analyst salary page.

One posting in five does not say where it hires. On 6 October 2026, 21.9% did not say, 32.5% listed only the United States, 19.6% listed only European countries and 4.6% said they hire worldwide.

Counting job boards as well, our index held 1,985 live business analyst postings on 6 October 2026, and 1,185 of them (59.7%) were seen only through job boards, against 50.4% across all professions. For this role, boards show a lot that careers pages do not.

Name your domain

The most common titles under this label on 6 October 2026 show how much the role depends on a field. "Senior business analyst" for Latin America, remote, appeared 13 times, and a second wording of it 8 times. Health insurance gave "senior business analyst - health insurance (fully remote)" 7 times and "health insurance subject matter expert" 5 times. Life sciences consulting titles ("associate business consultant - life sciences commercial", 4) and revenue operations analyst (5) came next. Employers that had postings under this label on 6 October 2026 included Veeva (57), OpenAI (10), Ramp (7) and Doctolib (6). One employer can make up a large part of a label, so this is not a trend.

Put your domain first in the job search, then the title, and say in your resume which domain you worked in.

Entry level and certificates

Business analyst has an unusually high junior share. On 6 October 2026, 152 postings (19.0%) were junior or internship level, against 8.2% across all professions. Among the 44 professions with 200 or more postings it ranked fifth on this measure. Search "junior business analyst", "associate business analyst" and "business analyst intern".

Certificates can help, but we cannot say that postings require them, and we did not count them. IIBA offers three. Its certification FAQ says the ECBA has no experience requirement, the CCBA asks for two to three years of business analysis work history (at least 3,750 hours in the last seven years), and the CBAP asks for five or more years (at least 7,500 hours in the last 10). Read each posting to see whether it names one. A real employer never asks you to pay to apply, for training or for equipment.

Contract or employee

On 6 October 2026, 560 of the 800 postings stated an employment type: 480 full-time, 45 contractor, 17 temporary, 15 internship and 12 part-time. That is a floor, because 240 postings stated no type. A contract usually means you invoice the company and handle your own tax and leave, and Dice shows many analyst contracts with hourly rates. Compare the two in our guide to contractor and employee remote jobs.

Where these roles can hire

The table counts postings that say they hire worldwide or whose list includes the country. Postings that say nothing are not counted.

India, Brazil and Mexico are above the share for all professions. The 32.5% that list only the United States are closed to you if you live elsewhere; see what "remote, US only" means. Our India page lists postings that say they can hire there.

Where RemoteHunt fits

RemoteHunt is not a board you post on. It reads live remote postings from employers' own careers pages and job boards, checks where each one says it can hire, and scores the ones that can hire you from 0 to 100 against your resume, with a written reason. If you have no resume, it builds one with you. It is free to start and you never pay to apply. The 90-day pass ($29 once, no renewal, 14-day refund) opens the company and apply link on every match.
