Senior Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller for Youwe Ukraine, you take full ownership of our Ukrainian finance function, from accounting, payroll and tax to reporting, internal controls and audits. Working closely with our international Finance team in Rotterdam and Leeds, you make sure our numbers are right, our processes are compliant, and our finance setup keeps getting smarter.

Key Responsibilities Take end-to-end ownership of accounting for Youwe Ukraine, including bookkeeping, invoicing, supplier administration and fixed assets Run month-end and year-end closing and the annual accounts, making sure financial statements are accurate, complete and on time Define and maintain internal controls, monitor Ukrainian tax and legal requirements, and flag risks early Ensure payroll and tax filings for Ukraine are correct and on time Own intercompany reconciliations and transfer pricing, and act as the point of contact for auditors and tax queries Streamline and automate finance processes using ERP, Power BI, data analytics and AI Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for Ukraine and, over time, globally Migrate the Youwe Ukraine financial administration into Workday and set up processes, data and controls that work in an international ERP Job requirements 5+ years of experience in financial control and/or accounting Experience in an international company or with international reporting, and an understanding of European financial rules Solid knowledge of Ukrainian accounting, tax and payroll legislation Hands-on experience with closing, reporting, payroll, tax filings and audits Experience with ERP systems (for example SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite) Bachelor's or Master's in Finance or Accounting Independent and self-organized, and comfortable working remotely with colleagues across countries Fluent in English, spoken and written Nice-to-haves Experience with Workday Financials Background in a project-based service company Experience with intercompany, transfer pricing, IFRS or EU financial legislation Experience with Power BI, automation or AI in finance processes Hands-on use of AI assistants or automation in your own finance work Experience with an ERP implementation or migration Benefits Medical insurance package Monthly lunch budget and well-being allowance Remote-first setup, with an office in Kyiv available Company-provided equipment Paid vacation, sick leave, and loyalty days A people-first company culture where growth, initiative, and collaboration are truly supported About Youwe Youwe is a full-service Digital Agency with over 25 years of delivering value to clients, and a diverse network of over 200 experts.
