About the Role

Our client, a growing UK dental practice, is looking for an experienced and patient-focused Dental Patient Chat Support Specialist to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone with experience handling a high volume of patient enquiries within a dental or healthcare environment, who is confident communicating professionally and empathetically through written channels.

You will be responsible for managing incoming patient enquiries via live chat and messaging platforms, responding promptly, answering questions, following up with prospective patients and helping guide them towards booking consultations and appointments.

This is a fast-paced, chat-only position where excellent written communication, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple conversations simultaneously are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of incoming patient enquiries through live chat, WhatsApp and other messaging platforms.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to prospective patients, providing helpful information and guiding them through the booking process.
  • Handle questions relating to dental treatments, consultations, appointments and general patient enquiries.
  • Follow up with prospective patients who have shown interest but have not yet booked a consultation.
  • Build trust and rapport through clear, empathetic and professional written communication.
  • Manage multiple conversations simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and response times.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient interactions, enquiries and follow-ups within the CRM.
  • Identify opportunities to convert enquiries into booked consultations and ensure prospective patients receive consistent support throughout their journey.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a dental practice, dental group or healthcare environment, with a strong understanding of patient enquiries and appointment bookings.
  • Proven experience managing high volumes of patient enquiries through live chat, WhatsApp or other written communication channels.
  • Strong written English, with excellent spelling, grammar and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple live conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working towards response-time, patient engagement and booking targets.
  • Experience using CRM systems, live chat platforms or patient management software.
  • A warm, empathetic and patient-focused approach, with the ability to handle sensitive enquiries professionally.
  • Availability to work UK evening hours and Saturdays, with a reliable home office setup, stable internet connection and backup power.
