  • Identify drawing discrepancies, omissions, scope gaps, and unclear requirements, raising technical queries where necessary.
  • Update quantities, schedules, and measurement records based on drawing revisions, addenda, and scope changes.
  • Coordinate with Estimating and Pre-Construction teams to validate quantities, meet tender deadlines, and improve measurement accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in construction quantity take-offs, estimating support, or a similar construction role.
  • Strong ability to interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Experience calculating material and labour quantities and preparing take-off schedules, measurement sheets, or quantity reports.
  • Proficiency in digital take-off or estimating software and Microsoft Excel, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and document management, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tender deadlines.
  • Experience with UK construction projects is strongly preferred; passive fire protection, firestopping, specialist subcontracting, and knowledge of UK measurement practices are advantageous.
