We are seeking talented and motivated C Developer Interns to join our TuxCare team. As an intern at TuxCare, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in C development and contribute to the development of our innovative projects.

TuxCare offers a portfolio of security solutions for Linux and open-source software aimed at enterprise organizations. With TuxCare, enterprises can automate live vulnerability patching, minimize downtime, keep their applications secure and compliant, and get support from a team that knows Linux security best – covering the most popular Linux distributions, end-of-life systems, programming languages, and much more. For more information, visit our website: tuxcare.com .

This internship is currently open within our Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) team :

Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) is one of TuxCare’s key products, enabling organizations to securely continue using Linux distributions and software languages that have reached end of life or no longer receive standard security updates. ELS delivers vulnerability patches for unsupported versions of CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, and Oracle Linux, as well as for runtimes and frameworks such as PHP, Python, Spring, Angular/AngularJS, Django, and Flask.

In this role, you will:

  • Handle the hard cases automation can’t: tricky backports, corner cases and failing builds
  • Research CVEs and backport security fixes to older package versions
  • Build and maintain packages across RPM- and DEB-based distributions
  • Process tickets and help unblock reviews
  • Use AI coding assistants every day and learn to check their output critically

This is a remote internship opportunity, allowing you to work from anywhere and have a flexible schedule.

If you are a passionate individual interested in gaining practical experience in C development and contributing to meaningful projects, we would love to hear from you!

Apply now and kick-start your career with TuxCare!
