About the Role

There is Talent is looking for a hands-on Marketing Assistant with strong content skills. You’ll help create and publish content, prepare our newsletter, support partnership outreach, and assist with other day-to-day digital marketing tasks.

We’re particularly interested in someone who knows how to use AI tools to research, draft, and repurpose content efficiently, then edit it carefully so it is accurate, useful, and sounds natural.

This is an execution-focused role. You’ll work on priorities set by management and report on your progress. You will not be responsible for managing the marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Research, draft, edit, and publish content for LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
  • Repurpose existing material, including podcasts, interviews, videos, blogs, and internal ideas, into content for different platforms.
  • Use AI tools to support research, outlining, drafting, editing, and repurposing.
  • Review and improve AI-assisted content to ensure it is accurate, clear, engaging, and consistent with our brand voice.
  • Help maintain a practical content calendar and keep production on schedule.
  • Prepare social media assets such as short-form videos, clips, images, and carousels, or coordinate their production when needed.
  • Support our YouTube channel by preparing and publishing videos, Shorts, titles, descriptions, and thumbnails.

Newsletter

  • Help plan, write, edit, and send newsletters.
  • Coordinate newsletter content and any supporting links or assets.
  • Track basic performance, such as opens, clicks, and engagement, and suggest improvements.

Partnerships and Outreach

  • Research entrepreneur groups, business communities, associations, podcasts, newsletters, and other relevant networks.
  • Contact potential partners with clear, personalized messages.
  • Follow up on conversations and keep partnership contacts and next steps organized.
  • Help coordinate opportunities such as guest contributions, interviews, referrals, and co-marketing.

General Digital Marketing Support

  • Assist with social media scheduling and basic community engagement.
  • Support website updates and basic SEO tasks.
  • Help coordinate marketing campaigns and keep related materials organized.
  • Track basic marketing activity and results, and share concise updates.
  • Take on other general digital marketing tasks as priorities change.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong writing and editing skills, ideally supported by examples of your work.
  • Experience creating content for digital channels, especially LinkedIn, video, or email.
  • Confidence using AI tools for content work, with the judgment to check and improve their output.
  • Experience with newsletters, email marketing, or partnership outreach.
  • A working understanding of social media, content marketing, websites, and basic SEO.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage deadlines and follow-ups.
  • Comfortable taking direction, communicating progress, and asking questions when needed.
