Symmetrio is recruiting a Senior Implementation Project Manager for our customer, a leading healthcare technology organization specializing in enterprise clinical software and oncology information systems. This individual will lead complex software implementations for hospitals, health systems, cancer centers, and multi-site healthcare organizations.

The role will oversee the full implementation lifecycle, from project initiation and customer discovery through system configuration, integration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise healthcare software implementations, preferably involving oncology information systems, radiation oncology workflows, treatment planning systems, or other clinical applications used in cancer care.

They will be comfortable coordinating cross-functional technical and clinical teams, managing executive stakeholders, and guiding customers through complex implementation milestones in regulated healthcare environments. This is a full-time position based in the United States. Regular domestic travel to customer sites is required to support project kickoffs, implementation milestones, go-live activities, and post-launch stabilization.

Responsibilities Lead end-to-end enterprise healthcare software implementations from project initiation through go-live and stabilization. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, resources, and deliverables. Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, and escalations.

Coordinate clinical, technical, engineering, and customer teams across multiple implementation workstreams. Oversee software configuration, clinical workflow validation, system testing, and deployment readiness. Coordinate healthcare system integrations, interoperability, and data exchange requirements.

Lead implementation planning, cutover activities, go-live execution, and post-launch stabilization. Manage customer relationships, executive communications, project status reporting, and stakeholder expectations. Identify opportunities to improve implementation methodologies, project documentation, and delivery processes, including the use of AI-enabled tools.

Mentor and support other project managers while facilitating successful transitions from implementation to ongoing customer support. 5+ years of experience managing enterprise software implementations or complex technical projects. Proven experience leading end-to-end healthcare software implementations across hospitals, health systems, or clinical environments.

Experience managing complex, multi-site deployments involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Strong project management skills, including scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, change management, and issue resolution. Experience coordinating software configuration, system testing, integrations, deployment, and go-live activities.

Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards and technologies, including HL7, FHIR, and APIs. Understanding of healthcare data privacy, security, and HIPAA requirements. Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and customer relationship management skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities, lead escalations, and work effectively with executive stakeholders. Willingness to travel domestically to customer sites as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience implementing oncology information systems, radiation oncology software, treatment planning systems, or related clinical applications.

Familiarity with radiation oncology workflows and clinical operations within cancer centers. PMP certification or equivalent project management certification. Experience mentoring project managers or leading enterprise-scale implementations.
