We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager Senior with a strong track record of leading implementations involving multiple vendors. You should be skilled in aligning stakeholders, ensuring commitments are met, and keeping projects on track. You thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at client collaboration, and maintain full control over project execution.

If you are a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and enjoy solving technical challenges, this role is a great fit for you!

Responsibilities

Process Management

● Act as the ultimate authority and accountable owner of project execution, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and customer expectations are met.

● Develop and maintain the project schedule in Microsoft Project.

● Own the backlog: meet with the client to resolve questions, translate needs into acceptance criteria, refine user stories using your judgment and experience, and lead conversations so the whole team shares a common understanding of what needs to be built.

● Collaborate with the Architect to ensure the technical solution stays aligned with the client's needs.

● Lead Scrum ceremonies and internal meetings (Scrum Master role); define each team member's responsibilities and resolve their questions.

● Serve as the primary escalation point: remove blockers, and identify, log, and mitigate risks with contingency plans.

● Document business domain knowledge, definitions, and technical solutions in Confluence; capture and assess change requests and additional scope.

● Report status, performance, and risks to the client, Delivery leadership, and executives, including C-level.

● Collaborate with the Delivery Director on hiring and team expansion needs.

● Capture, document and understand change requests/additional scope.

Time tracking & Resource Management

● Approve time-off requests and weekly timesheets, ensuring project continuity.

● Coordinate with HR and Office Administration on sick leave and study day certifications.

● Oversee onboarding and offboarding of team members.

Client Management

● Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for the client's engineering team, providing regular progress updates and demos.

● Become the foremost expert on the client's business logic, product, and objectives, and apply it to project strategy.

● Work with client technical counterparts to keep business and technical requirements aligned.

● Identify growth opportunities, supporting account expansion and upselling.

Pre-Sales to Development Transition

● Act as technical liaison between pre-sales and engineering, ensuring a smooth handoff from specifications to implementation and helping define project scope.

Team Leadership

● Lead and motivate the team, fostering a positive, high-performance culture.

● Hold monthly 1:1s with engineers, providing mentorship and feedback, and conduct annual performance assessments.

● Define career development plans with HR and practice leads

Technical Skills

● 10+ years as a project manager, planning projects and delivering on time with customer satisfaction.

● Experience with a hybrid Waterfall-Agile approach and leading Scrum events.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Project.

● Strong technical acumen: cloud architectures, estimation, and go-live activities. A development background is a big plus.

● Ensure technical quality with the Architect, keeping user stories ready for engineers, pull requests on time, and releases on schedule.

● Manage access and setup (vendor APIs, repositories, deployment pipelines).

● Fintech knowledge preferred, banking experience a strong advantage.

● Experience managing revenue, margins, and expenses is desirable.

Soft Skills

● Strong ownership, proactiveness, and sense of urgency; able to work autonomously and make informed decisions.

● Flexible mindset, able to adapt to changing priorities and take on tasks beyond the job description, handling extended work hours when needed.

● Excellent communication and transparency, keeping the Delivery Director informed of obstacles, status, and progress.

● Advanced English (written and spoken) and confident presentation skills for customers and executives.

● Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, balancing client needs and project constraints.

● Client-oriented, with sharp business vision and the ability to spot upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

● Highly organized in a fast-paced environment, able to delegate effectively, and a natural team leader and motivator.
