DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Our client seeks to improve the quality of life for citizens and organizations by building digital and frictionless experiences, combining traditional cybersecurity controls with biometrics, geolocation, machine learning, ID document recognition, and user behavior analysis. They are looking for a Semi-Senior / Senior DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for the agile integration and deployment of the company's products on cloud platforms and SaaS services.

Main Functions and Responsibilities

• Construction and integration of deployment of the company's product pipelines.
• Proficiency with containers (Docker) and orchestrators (Kubernetes).
• Participate in the development of new service infrastructures.
• Contribute to the area's knowledge base.
• Participate in the formulation of norms, standards, and policies related to the area.
• Monitor the operation of resources.
• Identify and stay updated on technological and management news.
• Ensure the security, within their scope of action and regardless of criticality, of the information and assets they manage according to their role.
• Ensure compliance with procedures.
• Ensure continuous improvement of the area.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience acting as a DevOps Engineer.
• Experience working with remote, multi-site teams performing distributed agile deliveries.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment that embraces continuous innovation.
• Experience in building and maintaining complex, scalable, and high-performance systems.
• Experience in making impactful technical decisions: defining standards, best practices, and infrastructure patterns at the team or area level.

Technical Knowledge

• Experience in Azure DevOps.
• Experience in Gitlab.
• Experience in CI/CD.
• Experience in Terraform.
• Experience in Kubernetes.
• Experience with Cloud Native environments.
• AI-First Engineer with judgment: capable of designing flows where AI accelerates deliveries without replacing technical judgment — prompt engineering, agent orchestration, context management, and rigorous validation of generated output. They are not looking for casual AI use; they seek someone who turns it into a real competitive advantage.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems (Debian, Ubuntu, Redhat, and CentOS).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and MS SQL Server databases.
• Experience in service tuning (Apache, NGINX, SQL).
