Salary

R29 000 – R32 000 per month Remote Recruitment is hiring a Payroll Administrator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa, owning accurate, on-time payroll for a UK team. Role overview You will make sure people are paid correctly and on time. Working to UK payroll cycles, you will prepare inputs, run checks and keep records tidy so every payday is clean.

Key responsibilities Prepare and process weekly or monthly payroll Check hours, starters, leavers and changes for accuracy Calculate deductions, pensions and statutory payments Answer employee payroll queries clearly and promptly Keep payroll records compliant and audit-ready What you'll need Experience processing payroll end to end Experience with payroll software such as Sage, BrightPay or Xero Payroll Working knowledge of PAYE, NI and pension auto-enrolment, or willingness to learn Strong numeracy and attention to detail Discretion with confidential information Nice to have Experience with UK payroll Familiarity with HMRC reporting Experience with Excel lookups and pivots What's on offer This is a full-time, 100% remote role working UK hours, 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).
