About the role
We process vast amounts of unstructured data through cutting-edge AI and NLP technologies, making information security and regulatory compliance central to our operations and client trust.
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Procurement Specialist to own procurement end-to-end across RavenPack. You will be the single point of contact for all purchasing activity: receiving requests from internal teams, leading commercial negotiations with vendors, and coordinating every stakeholder involved until each purchase, renewal, or offboarding is complete.
RavenPack manages roughly 250-300 vendors, the large majority of them software and SaaS subscriptions used globally. Most requests originate internally, so the focus is on executing them well (securing the right terms, documentation, and approvals) rather than running large market tenders.
Reporting to the CFO, you will work closely with Legal, Compliance, and IT, each of which reviews vendors from its own perspective, and with the requesting teams, who bring the product knowledge. We already operate a modern, AI-driven procurement platform, and you will help refine and build on it as our processes evolve. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, combining day-to-day operational work, such as processing purchase orders, with strategic conversations with department heads and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
-
Act as the single point of contact for procurement requests, from initial intake through to vendor onboarding, contract signature, and renewal.
-
Lead commercial negotiations with software vendors, SaaS providers, and service partners to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
-
Coordinate Legal, Compliance, IT, and requesting teams throughout the vendor review process, ensuring each team completes its part and requests move forward without delays.
-
Support IT Operations in negotiations for larger technical purchases, such as infrastructure.
-
Manage the renewal calendar, engaging department heads ahead of renewal dates to review usage, right-size licenses, and renegotiate where appropriate.
-
Prepare and process purchase orders and contracts, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies.
-
Maintain vendor records and procurement documentation within the procurement platform.
-
Monitor vendor performance and manage ongoing supplier relationships, including SLAs where applicable.
-
Identify cost-saving opportunities across the vendor portfolio, such as consolidating overlapping tools, removing unused licenses, and improving contract terms.
-
Prepare reports on procurement activity, spend, and savings for Finance and senior management.
-
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our procurement platform, workflows, and policies.
-
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and approval processes.
What we’re looking for
-
5+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with hands-on ownership of negotiations and vendor relationships.
-
Experience procuring software, SaaS, or technology services.
-
Comfort working with technical teams: you understand the tools people use and can talk to IT and engineering in their language. You don’t need a technical background.
-
Strong negotiation skills, with concrete examples of savings you drove yourself.
-
A proactive mindset: you look for opportunities to improve terms and reduce spend without being asked.
-
Confidence coordinating several stakeholders and holding your own with senior leaders.
-
Strong organisation: you can manage many renewals and requests at once without things slipping.
-
Experience with procurement tools or ERP procurement modules, and curiosity about AI-enabled tools.
-
Clear communication skills in both Spanish and English, written and verbal.
-
Eligibility to work in Spain.
Nice to have
-
Exposure to security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2, or to vendor security reviews. We’ll train you if this is new; what matters is understanding that we handle sensitive data and that compliance is part of every purchase.
-
Experience in a fast-growing tech company or scaleup.
-
Experience improving or building on an existing procurement system.
-
Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or a procurement certification (e.g. CPM, CPSM).
What’s in it for you?
-
International culture: With headquarters in Marbella and presence in Madrid, New York, and London, RavenPack is a truly diverse global organisation (over 29 nationalities and 24 languages spoken).
-
Real ownership: You’ll be the procurement function at a fast-growing AI company, with direct visibility to leadership.
-
Competitive salary: We believe your time and experience should be fairly rewarded.
-
Continuous learning: We provide the support you need to grow, including training on security and compliance.
-
Innovation: Innovation is key to our success, so we encourage you to speak up and share your ideas.
-
Flexibility: Fully remote within Spain, with the option to work from our Marbella HQ (free shuttle from Málaga, Fuengirola, La Riviera, and Estepona).
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
