• Global and local reach – trusted by key industry players in Europe and the US Responsibilities : We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong API testing and automation background to join our Loan Processor team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable test automation solutions, ensuring the quality of complex lending workflows, integrations, and microservices that support the loan origination and processing lifecycle.
• The role requires hands-on experience with API automation frameworks, test strategy definition, CI/CD integration, and collaboration with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment. Test Automation
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for API and backend services.
• Develop reliable automated tests covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Review and improve existing automation suites to increase maintainability and execution efficiency.
• Define automation standards, best practices, and coding guidelines. API & Backend Testing
• Validate RESTful APIs, event-driven integrations, and microservices.
• Design comprehensive API test scenarios covering:
• Functional validation
• Negative testing
• Error handling
• Security validation
• Performance considerations
• Data consistency
• Perform contract and integration testing across multiple systems.
• Analyze API payloads, logs, and system interactions to identify defects. Quality Engineering
• Participate in requirements and design reviews to identify risks early.
• Define test strategies and coverage for new features.
• Ensure adequate test coverage for critical loan processing business flows.
• Support shift-left testing practices. CI/CD & DevOps
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and improve test execution reliability. •Support deployment validation and production readiness activities.
• Provide quality metrics and automation reports to project stakeholders. Leadership & Collaboration
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to automation framework enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with development, architecture, product, and operations teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across QA practices and processes. Qualifications :
• 5+ years of QA Automation experience.
• 3+ years of API test automation experience.
• Experience testing enterprise applications with multiple integrations.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong knowledge of: REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS
• Authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, Basic Auth)
• Swagger/OpenAPI
• Experience with: RestAssured, Postman/Insomnia, Similar API automation tools
• Strong hands-on experience with C#
• Automation Frameworks
• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks using:
• TestNG / JUnit / NUnit / xUnit CI/CD
• Experience with:
• Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git Additionally
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Xray, Zephyr).
• Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
