The Property Manager is someone who will oversee day-to-day property operations, ensuring efficient property management, tenant satisfaction, owner communication, and compliance with company SOPs and applicable laws. This person will manage tenant relations, coordinate maintenance and leasing, oversee rent collections, and serve as the primary point of contact between tenants, property owners, vendors, and internal departments. We are looking for someone who is customer service oriented, loves to problem solve, takes initiative, and takes pride in owning projects from start to finish.

Requirements:

This role will tap into your bilingual Spanish and English background as you speak with tenants, property owners, vendors, business owners, and founders using email, text, and phone. Creating and managing project dashboards with appropriate updates and notes is done daily, so you must be extremely organized to get the most accomplished in your day! Last but not least, this role requires someone who is proactive and excited about helping others.

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the Property Management industry, with proven experience managing residential and/or multifamily properties.

  • C1/C2 or higher proficiency in English and Spanish is required (fluent spoken and written).

  • Strong working knowledge of Property Management software (such as AppFolio or similar systems preferred).

  • Knowledge of Project Management software (such as ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, etc.) is a plus.

  • A minimum of 2 years in a customer-facing role, utilizing multitasking skills.

Requirements

  • Property Operations & Management: Oversee day-to-day property operations across the portfolio; handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution; serve as the main point of contact for tenants, property owners, and vendors.
  • Maintenance & Work Orders: Review, assign, and track maintenance work orders with in-house technicians and third-party vendors; ensure timely completion, quality control, maintenance cost monitoring, and proper documentation in property management software.
  • Rent Collections & Delinquencies: Oversee rent collection processes, monitor delinquent accounts, issue required notices, and manage the eviction process in compliance with local, state, and fair housing laws.
  • Leasing & Marketing: Coordinate marketing and leasing activities with the Leasing Department; review rental pricing, vacancy status, and leasing performance; execute leases, renewals, and tenant onboarding to minimize vacancy.
  • Inspections & Compliance: Schedule move-in, move-out, annual, and special property inspections
  • Owner Communication & Reporting: Communicate professionally and clearly with property owners, providing updates on property performance, maintenance, and tenant matters while assisting with operational reporting.
  • Dashboard & System Management: Manage existing dashboards and tracking systems (in Google Sheets, ClickUp, property management databases, etc.) to maintain accurate records, track deadlines, and monitor performance metrics.
  • Process Optimization & Initiative: Take initiative to problem solve, look for ways to use technology to automate processes, solve problems on your own, and make recommendations for improvement to leadership.
  • Professional Interactions: Ability to have both professional and friendly interactions, build good relationships with team dynamics and client personalities, answer all emails/requests within 24 hours, and handle tough client or tenant interactions with ease.
  • Adaptability: Property management is inherently chaotic, fast-paced, and problem-heavy — you must be able to thrive in this environment and maintain high accountability across multiple properties and deadlines simultaneously.

Benefits

  • This is a remote/hybrid contract role.
  • You must use your own computer and have reliable internet access.
  • Training for company-specific technology and tools will be completed by the Propertyse Team.
  • Communication will occur through Google Meet/Virtual platforms, email, and portal messaging.
  • This is a contract role that does not include benefits or holiday pay.
  • Contracts are completed through Deel and payments are made through Deel in your preferred currency.
