TL;DR

We’re hiring a VP, Strategic Accounts to own the relationships behind a select book of PerformLine’s largest Enterprise accounts. You’ll build C-suite partnerships, drive retention and expansion, and turn our product roadmap into new growth alongside Client Success, Sales, and Product. You’ll carry your own book, lead relationship managers, and help build a new team as it grows.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Lead

  • Set the strategy, segmentation, and coverage model for a select book of PerformLine’s largest Enterprise accounts
  • Manage and develop relationship managers while carrying your own book, and build out the team as it scales
  • Set the operating rhythm for account planning, forecasting, and executive reviews
  • Serve as executive sponsor for our most important client relationships

Own

  • Own the retention and expansion number for your book, including gross and net revenue retention
  • Own revenue outcomes across renewals, pricing, contract terms, and multi-year agreements
  • Build C-suite relationships, often from the ground up
  • Maintain account plans, forecasts, and whitespace analysis

Engage

  • Partner with Client Success leadership on partnership health and clear the way for growth
  • Work with Sales, Marketing/GTM, and Product to turn PerformLine’s product roadmap into expansion opportunities, and bring client insight back into the roadmap
  • Lead executive business reviews focused on ROI and strategic outcomes
  • Represent PerformLine at client and industry events to deepen relationships and build the brand

Retain & Grow

  • Run renewal strategy and lead complex negotiations on pricing, terms, and multi-year structures
  • Pursue net-new lines of business and channels within accounts to grow PerformLine’s footprint
  • Find and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities using Client Success signals
  • Track at-risk accounts and pipeline, and report account health to the executive team
  • Use AI tools (Claude, etc.) to synthesize account data and speed up forecasting and renewal prep, and drive adoption across the team

WHO YOU ARE

  • Proven track record growing a multi-million-dollar enterprise book through renewals and expansion
  • Hands-on experience with financial services clients; compliance technology experience is a plus
  • Skilled at building C-suite relationships and negotiating complex, multi-year agreements
  • Strategic thinker who stays hands-on
  • Quick to learn new technology and comfortable using AI to work faster
  • Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Estimated base salary range $150,000 - 175,000 plus uncapped commission.

  • Exact compensation for this role depends on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and location.
