About Nextimox Technologies:

Nextimox Technologies is a product software company building modern platforms that make complex business operations simple. Our products cover workflow automation, data and analytics, enterprise systems and system integrations, built for international markets. We’re building our main R&D team in Prishtina from the ground up . That means the people who join now help shape how we work, our standards and our culture, with real ownership over what they build.

About The Role:

We are looking for a Senior IT Manager to build and own the IT function at Nextimox from the ground up. In this role, you will be responsible for our internal technology environment end to end: infrastructure, networks, cloud and SaaS systems, devices, identity and access, information security, and IT support. Your goal will be to make sure our engineering and business teams can work securely, reliably, and productively from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT function end to end, including infrastructure, networks, end-user devices, collaboration tools, SaaS platforms, and IT support.
  • Design, set up, and maintain secure office and cloud infrastructure, including networking, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN, backups, and connectivity.
  • Own identity and access management, including single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, role-based access, and smooth onboarding and offboarding.
  • Define and enforce IT and security policies covering device management, data protection, patching, and incident response, in line with GDPR and Kosovo's Law on Protection of Personal Data.
  • Partner with Engineering and DevOps to support developer tools, access to cloud environments, and secure workstations.
  • Plan and manage the IT budget, procurement, software licenses, asset inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Set up IT support and helpdesk processes, service levels, and documentation, and build a team as the company scales.
  • Ensure business continuity through reliable backups, monitoring, and tested recovery procedures.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations, including 3+ years leading an IT function or team.
  • Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace, including email, collaboration tools, and security settings.
  • Solid experience with identity and access management tools such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or Okta, including SSO and MFA.
  • Practical experience with device management for Windows and macOS using tools such as Microsoft Intune or Jamf.
  • Strong knowledge of networking and security fundamentals, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN, DNS, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and with supporting software engineering teams and their tools.
  • Good understanding of information security practices and data protection requirements, including GDPR.
  • Proven experience managing IT budgets, vendors, procurement, and licensing, ideally while setting up or scaling IT for a growing organization.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and service-oriented, with strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and comfortable using automation and AI tools to improve IT operations.

Preferred qualifications include certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft/AWS, experience with ITSM tools such as Jira Service Management, scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python), experience with ISO 27001 or SOC 2 compliance, and experience supporting IT in a software company.
