We’re looking for a Junior QA Specialist to help improve the quality of applications and automate the everyday work that supports it. You’ll work with product teams on client projects, including early-stage MVPs, with support from experienced teammates.
We’re building a team that can contribute across the application while developing depth in its primary discipline. In this role, quality is your focus: understanding user needs, checking how features work, and making testing, documentation, and team processes more reliable.
You’ll start with small, well-defined improvements and gradually build independence, learning the tools used by each project.
Contract summary::
- Rate: PLN 6.000 - 8.000 + VAT (B2B)
- Contract: B2B/UZL, paid days off, 100% remote (or hybrid/onsite - as you prefer), flexible working hours, full-time position, long-term contract, Scrum Teams, and more
- Perks and Benefits: 3,000 PLN annual training budget, Multisport, Luxmed, Cafeteria Platform, Tech-talks, Learning sessions, and more
- Tools you’ll use: Apple MacBook Pro, Slack, Google Workspace, GitHub, Jira, Coda, FigJam and Figma, browser developer tools and AI assistants such as Claude Code
Your future tasks::
- Work with developers, designers, and product owners to understand requirements, expected behaviour, and important user journeys
- Turn requirements into clear test scenarios and use a mix of exploratory checks and automation to evaluate application quality
- Build and maintain simple workflows with guidance, reducing repetitive QA work such as collecting test results, preparing reports, and updating checklists
- Use AI to help maintain test cases, process documentation, and the team knowledge base, checking suggested updates against actual product behaviour and agreed decisions
- Use AI agents to help create, run, and update straightforward end-to-end tests, with guidance and review from experienced teammates
- Check that automated tests verify the intended behaviour, investigate failures with support, and report product defects rather than simply making tests pass
- Report issues with clear reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and useful evidence; verify fixes and keep issue status up to date
- Run existing automated checks and learn how test results fit into the team’s CI/CD and release process
- Document how your workflows work, check their outputs, and raise failures or uncertainty so the team can maintain them
About you - Tech skills & Experience::
- Around 6-12 months of practical experience in QA, software testing, or a related role; internships count
- Basic understanding of test scenarios, expected results, regression testing, exploratory testing, and clear bug reporting
- Hands-on experience using AI assistants for practical tasks, with the ability to explain your approach and check the output
- Some experience building or adapting a simple automated workflow—for example, gathering information, updating documentation, or preparing a report
- Basic understanding of automation logic: you can follow a simple test or workflow, explain its inputs and expected results, and check whether it behaves correctly
- Initial hands-on experimentation with an AI agent to carry out a sequence of steps, ideally to create or run a simple application test
- Basic understanding of how an application’s interface, APIs, and data fit together, and willingness to investigate using browser tools, requests, logs, or test results
- Ability to break a task into clear steps, describe what a correct result looks like, and recognise when you need help
- Comfort working with issue trackers and shared documentation; willingness to learn the team’s testing and automation tools
About you - Soft Skills::
- Curious about user needs and how the team can deliver reliable software
- Notice repetitive work and suggest small, practical improvements
- Pay attention to detail and check evidence before drawing conclusions
- Communicate progress, findings, and blockers clearly
- Welcome feedback, acknowledge knowledge gaps, and ask for help when needed
- Ready to work with mentors and build independence within an Agile/Scrum team
- English at B2 or above for international collaboration
- Polish at C1 or above for daily team communication
Nice to have::
- Experience creating or maintaining automated browser or API tests
- Familiarity with a programming language, testing framework, or workflow automation platform
- Basic scripting, version control, SQL, or working with structured data
- Experience connecting tools through APIs, webhooks, or low-code automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD test runs and reading automated test reports
- Interest in accessibility, usability, or testing across browsers and devices
- ISTQB/ISEB certification or experience collaborating directly with clients
