About the Role
Lightspeed has a clear mission: We are building the restaurant platform that helps restaurateurs adapt, regain control, and focus on what they do best – running their own business successfully. As an Expansion Manager (m/f/d), you will be part of a team that is changing the way restaurants operate. With a consultative approach, you will actively approach new restaurants, build relationships, and acquire new customers in your region. You will understand their individual needs and develop customized solutions that truly advance their business. We are looking for your passion and sales power to further build the Lightspeed brand in your region. 📍 Important: This position is based in Hamburg.
Your Responsibilities
- You will create lists of potential restaurants and manage the entire sales process – from the first call or walk-in to closing the deal (experience with self-acquired customers is a big plus).
- You will conduct product demos and develop solutions that best fit the needs of interested parties.
- You will work closely with other teams to ensure that everything promised in sales is delivered.
- You will use Salesforce (our CRM) to manage all sales activities.
- You will keep an eye on the market and competition and know how to best position Lightspeed.
What You'll Bring
- You are self-motivated, creative, and flexible.
- You are comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoy working in a team.
- You have strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills and can convince and negotiate at all decision-making levels.
- As an Expansion Manager, you will be on the road in your territory every day and love direct contact with your customers.
- You have general technical affinity and are comfortable with software.
- Very good spoken and written German skills.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
- 1 year of experience in new customer acquisition or closing, in the restaurant industry or a comparable field is an advantage.
