Job and recruitment context ⭐️ Opening line ⭐️ We're completing our Finance team (replacement), in a fast-growing healthcare SaaS with a high volume of invoicing. You'll own the billing cycle end-to-end, hands-on. 🤝 Reporting Structure Direct Report: Anaïs, Head of Finance. Collaboration: you will work daily with the Finance team and the Operations team, and regularly with our external accounting firms in France and in the US. Finance sits at the crossroads of the company, so you'll also cross paths with a lot of stakeholders such as Tech teams etc. 🧠 Your missions Core responsibilities (~70%): Own B2B and B2G invoicing: Own, not just take part in, B2B invoicing and invoicing for healthcare professionals (B2G), including the related monthly analysis (e.g. number of patients included per month). Be able to perform the invoicing tasks hands-on (not only supervise them), so you can step in for the operations team during absences. Monthly closing and reporting: Perform the monthly closing and prepare the activity report. Prepare reporting: P&L, Cash Flow, SaaS KPIs. Manage the financial and operational reporting process to provide reliable monthly insight into the company's actual and forecasted performance, including cash position. Present these reports to stakeholders (including Comex members), independently. Secondary responsibilities (~30%): Verify, record and process supplier invoices (Payhawk). Oversee cash management (Agicap). Interact with our US and French accounting firms. Prepare administrative declarations (ad hoc, ~2/year). Participate in the annual budgeting process, in coordination with the operational teams. Contribute to the annual financial closing and preparation of financial statements. Coordinate operational teams to compile the R&D tax credit (CIR) file and assist with various grant projects. Contribute to implementing and optimising our financial tools and processes (invoicing, monthly reporting), with our automation consultant. Other administrative tasks (filing, archiving, etc.). 🥇 Your Profile and Mindset Experience Profile: Education: Master's degree in accounting (Chartered Accountant track, DCG/DSCG, business/engineering school, university). Seniority & Experience: confirmed profile, 3+ years of experience in a startup/SME environment. Startup/SME background: strongly valued (business vision, versatility); accounting-firm experience is a plus, not the priority profile. Languages: bilingual English/French. Excel: strong skills required. Tools: good knowledge of standard accounting software (SAGE, Oracle NetSuite, etc.); familiarity with Payhawk, Agicap or Salesforce is a plus; comfortable with AI tools (Claude) for your day-to-day. Sector (Bonus): SaaS and/or healthcare industry experience. Mindset and Soft Skills: Excellent, clear, transparent, proactive communication. Proven ability to fit well into a small team with varied personalities. Ability to bring other team members along and give direction on operational topics, without this being a hierarchical management role. Autonomy & pragmatism in a high-volume, fast-changing environment. A Note on Applying: We are looking for a confirmed, operational Finance Manager, but we know the perfect candidate doesn't exist.
