Bits of your job: Own our data architecture end to end and set its technical direction, from raw data and pipelines to analytical models and reporting. Define how data is modeled across the company: schemas, semantic layers, metric definitions, entities and relationships. Own the platform roadmap, including building out our data lake and leading the migration from Dataform to dbt.

Lead and grow the Data team, setting priorities, establishing how the team works, and developing each team member. Set and enforce standards for data quality, governance, documentation and reliability. Own access to data, including customer and other sensitive data, and keep warehouse costs under control.

Act as the main point of contact for data across the company, translating what Marketing, Finance, Operations and leadership need into a clear data direction. Present data and recommendations to the executive team, turning complex analysis into a clear story that leads to a decision. And other assigned tasks.
