Director of Marketing – Satellite Data & Missions

As we continue to expand our satellite capabilities and global presence, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Director of Marketing – Satellite Data & Missions to lead marketing strategy, positioning, and go-to-market activities for this growing business.

This is a strategic yet hands-on role, working closely with commercial, product, and engineering teams to strengthen Hydrosat’s market presence, accelerate customer engagement, and support business growth. Responsibilities Marketing Leadership: Take full ownership of marketing priorities, budgets, and performance metrics, proactively identifying opportunities, setting priorities, and driving initiatives from strategy through execution.

Operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability while helping build and scale the marketing function. Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute the marketing strategy for Hydrosat’s Satellite Data & Missions business, aligned with commercial objectives and growth priorities.

Go-to-Market Execution: Lead go-to-market planning for satellite data products, mission capabilities, and new market opportunities across commercial, government, and institutional sectors. Product Positioning: Translate complex satellite technologies and data capabilities into compelling value propositions, messaging, and customer-focused marketing materials.

Commercial Enablement: Partner closely with Sales, Business Development, Product, and Engineering to develop sales presentations, proposals, case studies, and other materials supporting customer acquisition and business growth. Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments to identify opportunities and strengthen Hydrosat’s market positioning.

Brand & Communications: Drive awareness and visibility through targeted campaigns, thought leadership, industry events, and strategic communications, in collaboration with the broader marketing team. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build trusted relationships with Sales, Business Development, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders. Proactively drive alignment across teams, navigate competing priorities, and ensure marketing initiatives effectively support business objectives.
