About the Company

Our client is an established, family-owned US freight brokerage specializing in reliable transportation and logistics solutions nationwide. The company connects businesses with trusted carriers, helping customers move freight efficiently through competitive pricing, proactive shipment tracking, and responsive communication. With a strong focus on accountability, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnerships, the team provides a fast-paced, collaborative environment where employees can develop their logistics expertise and grow into account management roles.

Job Summary

We are hiring a Bilingual Logistics Coordinator (English & Spanish) to join a growing US freight brokerage and develop into a Full-Cycle Account Manager.

This is more than a traditional track-and-trace or logistics support position. You'll begin by managing shipment coordination, carrier communication, and transportation operations before progressing into freight quoting, carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, and customer account management.

High-performing candidates may advance into an Account Manager role within 3–6 months, depending on demonstrated skills and performance.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with logistics or freight brokerage experience who wants to build a long-term career in transportation account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track shipments and provide timely pickup, transit, and delivery updates.
  • Vet carriers and coordinate with drivers to ensure smooth shipment execution.
  • Maintain accurate TMS records, shipment documents, and PODs.
  • Proactively resolve delays, carrier issues, and delivery exceptions.
  • Manage customer communications and support weekend operations.
  • Prepare competitive freight quotes and research market rates using DAT and Truckstop.
  • Source qualified US carriers and negotiate competitive rates.
  • Manage load coverage, carrier changes, and freight pricing.
  • Develop knowledge of profit margins and specialized freight types.
  • Manage existing customer accounts from quoting through final delivery as responsibilities expand.
  • Build strong customer and carrier relationships.
  • Grow shipment volume, maintain account records, and drive customer retention.

Requirements

  • Fluent professional English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence speaking on the phone.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Comfortable communicating and negotiating with freight carriers.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Strong accountability, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Interest in developing into a customer-facing Account Manager.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics coordination, dispatching, carrier sales, or transportation operations.
  • Experience working with US freight carriers and transportation networks.
  • Familiarity with DAT, Truckstop, or similar freight load boards.
  • Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS), particularly Tai Software.
  • Familiarity with 3CX or similar business phone systems.
  • Knowledge of Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Produce, Oversize, or specialized freight transportation.

Benefits

💰 Competitive base salary: Tailored to skillset and experience

🚀 Structured development toward an Account Manager role, potentially within 3–6 months.

🌍 Fully remote role

🤝 Become an integral member of an established US logistics company.

💼 Build a career in freight brokerage and transportation account management.
