The full posting

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to take full ownership of social media and paid advertising for a premier debate and speech education company serving students across Greater China and Southeast Asia. You will develop and execute content strategy, design graphics in Canva, coordinate with in-house video and design staff, run paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and drive the inquiry volume that fills enrollment.

This is an end-to-end ownership role, not a task-execution role. You will identify opportunities, chase down content from coaches and staff, set your own priorities, and build systems that produce consistent results without waiting to be told what to do next. The company has strong programs, a talented in-house creative team, and a clear market.

What it needs is someone who can translate that into digital engagement and measurable inquiries across the Asian education market. If you thrive on autonomy, take pride in building things from scratch, and are motivated by seeing your work drive real enrollment conversions, this role is a strong fit.

Why You'll Want to Join You will be paid in USD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th) Paid Time Off in accordance with company policy Observance of Holidays per company guidelines 100% remote setup so you can work wherever you're most productive This role requires availability Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Hong Kong Time — this schedule is non-negotiable given the need for real-time coordination with the Asia-based team and audience during peak engagement hours Own the full digital marketing function for an established education brand with a strong reputation across Greater China and Southeast Asia High-autonomy role with direct ownership over strategy, execution, and results What You'll Work On Content Strategy and Execution Audit current social channels and develop an ambitious growth strategy focused on generating inquiries and boosting engagement across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn Generate fresh, high-converting content ideas tailored to parents and students in the target markets, with a clear understanding of what drives families to inquire about extracurricular education services Serve as the primary project manager for content production — proactively chase coaches, staff, and students for raw footage, photos, testimonials, and program updates without waiting for content to come to you Manage the content calendar and execute all posting and scheduling aligned with Hong Kong Time peak engagement windows Graphic Asset Creation and Post-Production Coordination Design static graphics independently in Canva for ads, carousels, stories, and promotional materials — this is a core hands-on responsibility Brief and coordinate with the in-house video editing team for all video post-production needs, providing clear creative direction, assets, and deadlines Collaborate with the in-house graphic designer for complex branding assets, providing clear briefs and managing timelines Paid Advertising and Community Management Plan, launch, and optimize paid ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn with a strict focus on cost per inquiry and enrollment conversion Monitor engagement, respond to DMs and comments during core hours, and track analytics weekly to refine strategy toward inquiry generation Translate educational value propositions into compelling marketing copy that resonates with families in the target markets Cross-Functional Coordination Liaise with the marketing and post-production team to ensure all deliverables meet deadlines Participate in daily async check-ins and weekly strategy syncs and over-communicate progress and blockers during core hours Build repeatable workflows and systems that reduce dependency on manual oversight over time What You Bring Proven track record of owning digital marketing end to end with a portfolio or case studies showing where you identified a gap, built a solution, and drove measurable results with minimal direction Deep understanding of Greater China and Southeast Asian education markets including Hong Kong, Singapore, and Mainland China, and how families in these regions evaluate extracurricular education services Demonstrated success running paid campaigns and growing organic engagement on Facebook and Instagram targeting Asian education audiences Experience coordinating with subject matter experts to extract content — comfortable following up persistently and professionally to get what you need Strong Canva proficiency for creating polished, on-brand static graphics independently — video editing skills are not required Inquiry-focused mindset with a genuine obsession over conversion metrics rather than vanity metrics Strong written English with the ability to adapt tone for both students and parents in the target markets Mandarin or Cantonese proficiency is highly valued for authentic market connection Nice to Have Background in education, tutoring, enrichment, or service-based industries Experience with WeChat, Rednote (Xiaohongshu), or other regional platforms Experience with CRM integration and lead tracking in Asian markets Existing network or community connections in Hong Kong, China, or Singapore education circles How to Apply Please include: Your updated resume A portfolio link or case studies showing digital marketing work you have owned including paid campaigns, content strategy, or social growth results — ideally with evidence of inquiry or conversion outcomes A short Loom video (1 to 2 minutes) introducing yourself, describing your experience marketing to Asian education audiences, and walking through one campaign or content initiative you owned end to end and the results it produced Only candidates who submit both a portfolio and Loom video will be moved to the next step of the hiring process.

If you are a self-directed digital marketer who understands the Asian education market, can build systems that generate consistent inquiries, and want full ownership over strategy and execution for a brand with a strong product and a clear market, this role gives you the autonomy and the direct impact to do your best work.
