About the Role

Hightouch is looking for its first dedicated Legal Operations hire. As our business continues to scale, so does the volume and complexity of our legal team’s work, and we’re investing in scalable systems and processes. This is a high-visibility role with meaningful ownership from day one.

You’ll serve as the primary administrator of Ironclad, our contract lifecycle management platform and a close strategic partner to our Deal Desk team. Your early focus will be on improving how we use our existing systems. You will also have freedom to experiment with leading tools on the market to determine how well they fit with Hightouch’s existing ecosystem.

Eventually, you’ll own legal intake and day-to-day contract support for our go-to-market organization. You’ll define routing and triage, set turnaround expectations, and act as the primary point of contact for Sales and Revenue Operations. While this role doesn’t involve drafting or negotiating agreements, you’ll keep contracts moving to the right reviewer and who makes sure our data is accurate and trusted across the company.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys iterating on existing processes and wants to see the direct impact of their work on how a fast-growing company operates.

You’ll report to our Head of Legal and partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Security teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Ironclad as our primary administrator, including workflow configuration, template and clause library governance, user provisioning and permissions, records management, and reporting.

  • Revamp and improve legal intake for the go-to-market organization, including request routing, triage criteria, turnaround expectations, and escalation paths.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Sales and Revenue Operations on contract status, process questions, and standard-form agreements.

  • Manage the execution process end to end, including approval routing, electronic signature, countersignature, filing, and capturing post-execution obligations.

  • Build reporting on contract cycle time, volume, process bottlenecks, and recurring deviations from our standard positions, and use it to drive process improvements.

  • Maintain our contract repository as an accurate system of record, with clear metadata standards and renewal and expiration tracking, so that Finance and Security can self-serve.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in legal operations, contract management, or deal desk at a technology company.

  • You have implemented Ironclad successfully. You’ve configured workflows, built and iterated on templates and a clause library, designed approval logic, and driven a rollout through to adoption.

  • You know SaaS commercial agreements well, including master services agreements, order forms, data processing agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and amendments, and you understand how they relate to one another.

  • You’ve supported a sales organization and know how to maintain process discipline without slowing deals down.

  • You like communicating with non-lawyers

  • You thrive with autonomy in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to Have

  • Deal desk or Revenue Operations experience.

  • Experience at a company moving upmarket into an enterprise sales motion.

  • Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, security questionnaire response, or privacy operations.

  • Experience evaluating or deploying AI tooling for contract review, data extraction, or obligation management.
