We are hiring an LCSW licensed in North Carolina to provide therapy through virtual appointments. You’ll work with clients who may be facing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, family concerns, work stress, or significant changes in their personal lives. As a clinical social worker, you’ll consider both the mental health concerns presented in therapy and the circumstances surrounding them. This may include family responsibilities, access to services, relationships, or other factors that can influence a client’s situation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual psychotherapy through telehealth
  • Speak with clients about current concerns, background, and circumstances that may be affecting them
  • Address a range of mental health and psychosocial concerns within your scope of practice
  • Keep clinical records accurate, organized, and completed on time
  • Recognize when family, social, or practical issues may require additional attention
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals or other services when appropriate
  • Assist clients with accessing relevant resources when therapy alone does not address the full need
  • Respond appropriately to urgent or safety-related situations
  • Protect client confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries
  • Follow North Carolina LCSW licensing and ethical requirements

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
  • Active and unrestricted LCSW license in North Carolina
  • Previous experience providing therapy, counseling, or behavioral health services
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload in a remote setting
  • Knowledge of ethical, legal, and confidentiality requirements in clinical care

Benefits

  • Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year
  • Full-time remote position
  • Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • 2 weeks PTO
  • Health Insurance
  • 401K Plan with 3% Company Match
