  • Partner with Epic application teams, subject matter experts, operational leaders, and other stakeholders to validate workflow and system content.
  • Translate complex Epic workflows and system functionality into clear, user-friendly training materials.
  • Ensure online learning content remains accurate, consistent, and aligned with current system workflows and organizational standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of curriculum, system demonstrations, assessments, and supporting materials.
  • Manage multiple curriculum development priorities while meeting established project milestones and deadlines.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback and learner needs into curriculum revisions.
  • Support curriculum testing, review cycles, and final approval processes.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation, version control, and content-development standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to trainers, instructional designers, and other curriculum development team members.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to project leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience rebuilding, redesigning, or converting Epic curriculum for eLearning and online delivery.
  • Strong experience developing digital learning modules, simulations, assessments, job aids, and end-user training materials.
  • Knowledge of Epic workflows, training environments, and curriculum development processes.
  • Experience evaluating existing curriculum and identifying opportunities to improve usability, consistency, and learner engagement.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and eLearning development best practices.
  • Ability to translate complex system workflows and technical information into clear, concise, and engaging learning content.
  • Experience collaborating with application analysts, subject matter experts, operational stakeholders, and project leadership.
  • Excellent written communication, editing, documentation, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines within a defined nine-month engagement.
  • Experience working within healthcare organizations or healthcare IT environments.

  • Familiarity with learning management systems and online curriculum deployment.
  • Experience establishing curriculum standards, development templates, and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience mentoring trainers or leading curriculum development workstreams.
