Trading Platform Administrator (MT5 Certified)

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a Forex/CFD broker whose entire business operates on the MT5 platform, seeking to onboard a Trading Platform Admin (MT5 Certified) to join their team. Position: Trading Platform Administrator Location: Bangkok, Thailand Work model: Hybrid Employment type: full time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administer and maintain the full MT5 server stack, including Trade Server, Manager, Admin and Gateway, ensuring stability, security and high uptime Configure and maintain Symbols, Groups, Commission, Swap and Margin settings in line with business policies Manage plugins and bridges connecting MT5 with Liquidity Providers, CRM and payment systems Plan and execute server upgrades, patches, backups and disaster recovery procedures Monitor platform security and identify and prevent exploits, arbitrage abuse and latency arbitrage Work closely with the Dealing Desk, Risk and Compliance teams to align platform configuration with the business's risk appetite Act as the senior MT5 point of contact for both technical and business teams Document configuration standards, SOPs and incident reports Provide on-call support for after-hours platform issues

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience administering MT5 servers, including Manager, Admin, Gateway and Bridge MT5 Certification from MetaQuotes or equivalent Solid understanding of Forex/CFD broker mechanics, including spread, commission, swap, margin and leverage Working knowledge of Windows Server, networking and security fundamentals Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders Ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure in an environment requiring continuous platform availability OFFER: Hybrid working model Salary based on experience Clear growth path towards leading the Platform/Infrastructure team Opportunity to take ownership of the core trading platform supporting the wider business And many more!
