As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for a mix of client delivery, team leadership, and developing junior team members. You will also participate in account management and business development activities.

What You'll Do: Finance & Office of the CFO

  • Own the Finance workstream on post-close integrations.

  • Lead integration across all functional areas, including Financial Reporting, Controllership, FP&A, and Treasury.

  • Support or lead Finance tech-stack integration and system rationalization initiatives.

  • Advise CFOs and Finance leadership on operating model design, organizational structure, reporting processes, and integration priorities.

  • Establish integrated management reporting and KPI frameworks to support executive decision-making, board reporting, and sponsor oversight.

  • Lead synergy identification, value capture tracking, EBITDA improvement initiatives, and variance reporting.

Integration Work

  • Lead complex integration engagements, translating the sponsor's investment thesis into executable Finance integration roadmaps.

  • Drive Integration Management Office (IMO) governance, reporting, and program management and holistic IMO oversight.

  • Drive Day 1 readiness planning and post-close execution across Finance and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Own C-suite and sponsor communication on integration progress.

  • Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved AI-enabled solutions for clients and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client and internal outcomes.

Client Leadership & Business Development

  • Build new client relationships, deepen existing ones, and support leadership in go-to-market efforts and proposal creation.

  • Oversee client accounts, including work plans, staffing, timelines, budgets, and delivery quality.

  • Play a key role in talent development, including mentoring and coaching junior team members.

  • Attract, interview, hire, and retain top talent

What You'll Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting, M&A integration, Finance transformation, CFO advisory, or in-house Finance leadership at a PE-backed company.

  • Strong understanding of Finance functions, including Financial Reporting, Controllership, FP&A, Treasury, and the finance tech stack.

  • Experience partnering with CFOs, Controllers, and executive leadership teams to execute strategic integration initiatives.

  • Proven ability to develop and manage integration roadmaps, governance structures, executive communications, and value capture programs.

  • Experience supporting private equity sponsors and portfolio companies through acquisition integration and buy-and-build strategies.

  • Track record of running large-scale integration projects to completion.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence decisions and build trusted advisor relationships.

  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.

  • Comfort with AI and a continuous learning mindset: demonstrated ability to responsibly adopt firm-approved AI tools and openness to emerging technologies in alignment with firm policies.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

  • CPA, CFA or CA credential strongly preferred.

  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed — hybrid delivery model.
