The Learning and Development Business Partner (LDBP) is a hands-on instructional design contributor responsible for designing and developing custom learning and enablement solutions that build team member skills and capabilities. This role independently manages a portfolio of learning projects through the full lifecycle, from needs assessment and design through development, implementation, and evaluation. The LDBP works closely with business leaders and subject matter experts across NRI to design and deliver impactful learning solutions that build capability, support professional growth, and strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients. Responsibilities: Design and personally develop engaging, practical learning experiences and enablement solutions using sound instructional design principles. Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to assess performance and capability needs, define desired outcomes, and design custom learning solutions. Manage a portfolio of concurrent learning projects from needs assessment through design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Leverage advanced learning technologies and AI tools throughout the learning development lifecycle to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of learning solutions. Independently manage scope, timelines, milestones, stakeholder communication, and deliverables. Manage stakeholder review and approval cycles and prepare and publish completed learning content in the appropriate format and platform for learner access. Create surveys, quizzes, and other diagnostic tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training and enablement solutions. Manage solutions such as projects, owning timeline, scope, updates, and communication with stakeholders. Source and partner with external vendors as needed. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 5 -7 years of experience in an instructional design role. 3-5 years of experience executing and running training programs Fluency in leveraging various AI technologies to create, manage, and evaluate solutions Experience designing and developing learning solutions for Sales and/or Delivery teams, including sales enablement, consulting and delivery effectiveness, and high-performer skill development. Experience working with a wide variety of learning technologies (examples: Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Vyond, Multimedia tools, etc). Excellent project management and consulting skills Experience working with performance management programs and/or competency modeling a plus Strategic and wholistic thinking – ability to construct a long-term vision based on achieving specific goals. Ability to break long term vision into shorter, time-bound milestones Dedication to progress and results – process orientation and methodical in approach to training and enabling team members
