About the Role

Lead the compliance program for a fintech focused on cross-border payments and digital assets. You will own its day-to-day operations, guide a team of analysts, and help shape how clients and payments are reviewed as the business expands.

  • Make and document final decisions on escalated onboarding, wallet screening, transaction monitoring, and SAR cases.

  • Lead, manage, and mentor compliance analysts, including reviewing their escalations.

  • Represent the compliance program in bank and payment partner due diligence, information requests, and audits.

  • Oversee compliance systems and workflows, including AI-assisted tools used by analysts.

What We're Looking For

  • Three to twelve years of relevant experience, including leading a compliance team and owning a program at a fintech, payments, or digital-asset business.

  • Hands-on experience operating crypto or digital-asset compliance, risk, fraud, or payments programs across the Americas.

  • Experience with SAR filings, regulatory reporting, BSA/AML policy development, and risk modeling.

  • Practical experience managing customer onboarding, wallet screening, and transaction monitoring workflows.

  • Knowledge of stablecoins, digital-asset wallets, screening practices, and crypto exchange controls.

  • Understanding of US-Latin America cross-border trade and trade-based money laundering risks.

  • Experience coordinating audits and due diligence with banks or payment partners.
