We are looking for a hands-on specialist who is both a social media manager and a working graphic designer. Strategy and creative direction come from the Marketing Director; this person turns approved briefs into content calendars and polished, on-brand posts, then schedules and publishes them.

The right candidate works independently within brand guidelines, checks their own work carefully before submitting it, and communicates early when something is blocked. Candidates strong in only one area (social only, or design only) are not a good fit.

They also need to be proactive: when the Marketing Director isn’t available, they note open questions for later and keep working on what they can create and control, so the work keeps moving.

They take direction well: once feedback is given, they apply it fully and carry it into future work, so it doesn’t need to be repeated.

Brands supported: Christie Lites, Sunlarus, illumixx

Requirements

  • Professional experience managing social media channels for brands, including content calendars and performance reporting.
  • A portfolio of their own graphic design work showing typography, layout, visual hierarchy and consistent use of brand guidelines.
  • Experience independently building content calendars, from ideas through production and publishing.
  • Hands-on use of social scheduling tools and analytics.
  • Fluent written English, with strong copywriting, editing and proofreading.
  • Experience handling more than one brand or client, each with its own look and tone of voice.
  • Proficiency in the design tools behind their portfolio, and the ability to hand over organized, editable source files.
  • A proactive working style: when their manager isn’t available, they set aside open questions for later and focus on the work they can move forward, so it’s ready to present.
  • Takes direction well: applies feedback fully the first time and remembers it for future work, without needing reminders.

Nice to haves

  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
  • Short-form video editing and basic motion graphics
  • Experience updating website content
  • Experience with B2B brands
  • Spanish, helpful for Sunlarus content

Benefits

  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Payments in USD
  • 100% Remote Work Opportunity
