- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, timelines, dependencies, and responsibilities.
- Coordinate multiple projects while managing priorities and follow-ups.
- Track action items, dependencies, risks, and blockers and escalate issues when required.
Execution and Delivery
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and status trackers.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and other delivery activities.
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear documentation of decisions and action items.
- Monitor project progress against timelines and proactively highlight delays or risks.
- Coordinate release readiness and dependencies across Product, Engineering, QA, Data Science, and Operations teams.
- Use project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
Communication and Collaboration
- Maintain clear and timely communication with project stakeholders.
- Follow up with teams to ensure commitments and action items are completed.
- Prepare regular project status updates covering progress, risks, blockers, and upcoming milestones.
- Build strong working relationships across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, Operations, and other teams.
- Work closely with Data Scientists, Engineers, and Designers to translate product requirements into clear execution plans and ensure effective collaboration across disciplines.
- Work closely with Senior Product Managers and Engineers on complex projects and progressively take on greater ownership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technology, or related field.
- 3 - 6 years of experience in project management, project coordination, delivery management, or a related role, preferably in SaaS, software or digital product environments.
- Experience working with Product and Engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Understanding of sprint planning, backlog refinement, release coordination, and project tracking.
- Strong proficiency in working with data, including the ability to analyze data, identify trends and insights, and use data to support product and project decisions.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar.
- PMP, CSM, CAPM, or similar certification is a plus.
- Must be flexible to work during US hours (until at least 5 PM EST) for this role.
