At Bluesight, our mission is to create groundbreaking solutions that increase efficiency, safety and visibility for health systems, hospital pharmacy, and pharmaceutical manufacturers. We empower our customers to deliver the right medicine to the right patient at the right time, every time. We are a high growth healthcare information technology company with a start-up 'vibe' but over 3,000 customers using our proven solutions. Overview: Bluesight is seeking a Director of Clinical Strategy to support our Compliance Suite of solutions, ControlCheck and PrivacyPro. This role is ideal for a healthcare leader who is passionate about using technology to solve real-world challenges in healthcare, specifically around drug diversion prevention and patient privacy protection. The ideal candidate is a healthcare expert who thrives on educating stakeholders, building value-driven relationships, and has deep knowledge in drug diversion investigations, patient privacy/HIPAA compliance, and healthcare operations. As a strategic partner to both prospective and existing clients, you'll help demonstrate how Bluesight's ControlCheck and PrivacyPro platforms give health systems comprehensive, AI-powered visibility into controlled substance diversion and patient data access — proactively detecting risk before it becomes patient harm, a regulatory finding, or a breach. Working closely with Bluesight's Clinical Strategy leadership, you'll serve as the clinical and compliance voice for the Compliance Suite across sales, product, and marketing. Responsibilities: Establish strategic & trusting relationships to advise hospital pharmacy, diversion, compliance, and privacy leaders on best practices for ControlCheck and PrivacyPro Lead live product demonstrations, virtually and in person, walking hospital teams through diversion investigation workflows (including IRIS analytics and case management) and patient privacy monitoring workflows (including multi-incident case review and user watchlists) to help them evaluate and operationalize the Compliance Suite within existing workflows Drive sales performance by collaborating with the sales team to convey the value of ControlCheck's AI-powered diversion surveillance and PrivacyPro's AI-powered privacy monitoring, both as individual solutions as well as how the two solutions work together as a unified Compliance Suite for prospective clients Support cross-sell and upsell strategy, helping existing hospitals expand their Bluesight footprint, and assist sales leaders in developing personalized messaging and strategies to achieve revenue goals Engage all levels of hospital staff, from frontline pharmacy, nursing, and privacy analysts through Chief Compliance/Privacy Officers and the C-suite Leverage deep knowledge of drug diversion program operations (audit and case investigation workflows, IRIS metrics, Continuous Infusion reconciliation, Pain Related Analysis) and patient privacy/HIPAA compliance practices (EMR access auditing, OCR investigation readiness) to provide strategic insight to clients Partner with the ControlCheck and PrivacyPro product teams to provide customer feedback and clinical/compliance input that helps to shape the roadmap, including emerging capabilities like the Prism AI Assistant Act as a thought leader and partner with marketing to lead webinars and produce relevant, informative content for prospective and current clients across both diversion and privacy audiences Keep informed of current legislation, trends, and regulations affecting pharmacy, privacy, and healthcare operations generally, including DEA, Joint Commission, state board, HIPAA, and OCR requirements Qualifications & Skills: Healthcare leader with 5+ years of experience in hospital drug diversion prevention, pharmacy operations, and/or patient privacy/HIPAA compliance program leadership (pharmacist licensure, privacy officer credential, or compliance certification preferred) Deep, hands-on experience with drug diversion monitoring and/or patient privacy monitoring platforms, with the fluency to run demonstrations and field technical, clinical, and compliance questions with minimal support (experience with ControlCheck, PrivacyPro, or comparable platforms strongly preferred) Proven track record of operating autonomously and leading multidisciplinary projects — spanning pharmacy, nursing, IT, compliance, legal, and privacy stakeholders — with minimal oversight Direct experience evaluating and implementing diversion or privacy monitoring technologies, including familiarity with EMR/ADC integrations (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Pyxis, Omnicell) Knowledgeable on DEA regulations and Joint Commission diversion standards, and/or HIPAA and OCR investigation processes Polished, confident presenter — both virtually and in person — able to tailor delivery and influence decision-making across disciplines, from frontline pharmacy, nursing, and privacy staff to Chief Compliance Officers and the C-suite Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
