We welcome backgrounds in law enforcement, regulatory enforcement, inspector general operations, workplace investigations, fraud examination, compliance, and related fields.

What you’ll do

  • Assess investigative training needs and recommend learning priorities.
  • Develop and update curricula, instructor guides, participant materials, and practical exercises.
  • Deliver training on investigative planning, interviewing, evidence assessment, documentation, and report writing.
  • Build realistic case studies and simulations tailored to client responsibilities.
  • Establish learning objectives and assess participant understanding and performance.
  • Review training content for accuracy, clarity, and practical application.
  • Coach instructors and subject matter experts on effective training delivery.
  • Coordinate with agency stakeholders and project managers to deliver training programs and incorporate feedback.

Requirements

  • Substantial professional experience in investigations, investigative oversight, or a closely related field.
  • Experience designing and delivering training for adult professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of investigative interviewing, case development, and documentation practices.
  • Ability to translate technical subject matter into clear, useful instruction.
  • Experience working independently and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred experience

  • Leading investigative training programs or developing agency training standards.
  • Supporting federal, state, or local government organizations.
  • Applying or teaching the P.E.A.C.E. investigative interviewing model.
  • Developing instructor-led, virtual, or blended learning programs.
  • Evaluating training effectiveness and recommending improvements.
  • Relevant investigative, instructional, or professional certifications.

For specialized P.E.A.C.E. instructor assignments, candidates may need to demonstrate at least five years of professional investigative interviewing experience, three years of P.E.A.C.E. model experience, and three years as an instructor. Candidates with other investigative training specialties are also encouraged to apply for broader opportunities.

Responsibilities may range from hands-on instruction and curriculum development to leading a training workstream. We are open to candidates interested in full-time employment, part-time work, or project-based engagements.

This posting supports current and anticipated client needs. Assignments and employment arrangements depend on project requirements and, where applicable, contract award. Compensation will be discussed based on experience and scope.
