THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute channel strategies for Amazon and TikTok Shop that significantly grow sales, market share, awareness and profitability.
• Define the role of each marketplace in the broader omnichannel strategy, and align channel goals with overall business objectives alongside senior leadership.
• Own channel P&L, forecasting, and annual planning for Amazon and TikTok Shop

Marketplace Ownership & Operations

• Own day-to-day performance of both marketplaces, including listing and catalog management, pricing.
• Support the Fulfillment & Distribution team on inventory health, and fulfillment.
• Lead promotional and offer strategy, including platform deal events (Prime Day, BFCM, Deal For You Days, etc.)
• Direct merchandising strategy: assortment, bundles, variants by channel.
• Oversee content and listing quality, including titles, imagery, A+/enhanced content, video, and reviews and ratings, optimized for each platform's search and discovery mechanics.
• Maintain account health and compliance: policy adherence, listing integrity, MAP and pricing governance, and unauthorized seller monitoring.

Platform & Partner Management

• Build strong relationships with Amazon and TikTok Shop account teams and with our agencies and third-party service providers.
• Stay ahead of platform changes, new programs, beta features, and policy updates, and turn them into competitive advantage.
• Negotiate terms and manage partnerships to maximize channel profitability.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

• Use analytics tools to track KPIs including GMV, conversion, share of search, buy box ownership, contribution margin, inventory turns, and overall account health.
• Monitor competitive and category trends, and adjust strategy accordingly.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to executive leadership, with wins, risks, and strategic recommendations.

Advertising & Paid Media Strategy

• Partner with the Paid Media team on TikTok to align campaigns and strategies.
• Own marketplace advertising strategy across Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products/Brands/Display, DSP) and TikTok Shop ads, including budget allocation, targeting, and bidding approach.
• Set channel-level growth and profitability goals (TACoS, contribution margin) and monitor ad efficiency against them.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Identify new growth opportunities across emerging marketplace features, formats, and best practices in digital commerce.
• Lead pilots and test-and-learn initiatives, and scale what works across both channels

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 7+ years experience running Amazon and social commerce, with a proven record of driving significant Amazon revenue growth
• Hands-on TikTok Shop experience, scaling growth on the marketplace
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a consistent “can-do” attitude.
• A desire to follow broader cultural conversation across social media around key topic areas: health and wellness, sports, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple work streams at once.
• Strong interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills.
• Must have Amazon experience.
• DTC Experience strongly preferred.

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $145,000.00 - $175,000.00 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
