Senior Business Development Representative, LATAM & North America

Location: Remote (US-Based) | Ability to travel to LATAM as needed

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and high-performing Business Development Representative (BDR) with native or professional Spanish-language fluency to drive revenue and qualified pipeline across Latin America (LATAM) and select North American accounts. You thrive in high-growth, fast-paced environments and bring a relentless execution mindset to every quarter. While you will partner closely with marketing to convert inbound demand, your core strength lies in building pipeline from cold target lists and penetrating untapped enterprise accounts across the region through strategic, Account-Based outbounding.

We sell to elite engineers and technical decision-makers designing demanding, mission-critical systems. Your mission is to secure a seat at the table early—well before competitors are even aware of the project. You lead with consultative, value-based selling, quickly grasping complex technical bottlenecks and tying them directly to executive business goals. You excel at multithreading into cross-border organizations, navigating smoothly from engineering leads to C-suite stakeholders to orchestrate the entire buying committee.

What You’ll Do

• Strategic Pipeline Development: Generate a predictable, expanding flow of qualified enterprise opportunities across target accounts in LATAM and North America. Partner closely with regional Account Executives (AEs) on territory planning, account mapping, and weekly alignment syncs to ensure booked meetings turn into closed-won revenue.
• Execute Multi-Touch Cadences: Leverage AI tools and targeted research to map the full buying committee (from Lead Engineers and Architects to Heads of Infrastructure, VPs of Data, and CTOs). Break through the noise using hyper-personalized, multi-channel outreach across cold calls, tailored emails, and LinkedIn in both Spanish and English.
• Navigate Regional Business Nuances: Adapt communication styles to resonate with Latin American enterprise buying cultures, establishing trust, rapport, and credibility with key decision-makers while managing cross-time-zone territory demands.
• Partner with Marketing & Field Events: Collaborate with Field Marketing on regional conferences, executive dinners, and localized campaigns. Travel periodically across LATAM to support on-the-ground events, engage key prospects in person, and run tight follow-up cadences.
• Action Demand & Intent Signals: Engage closely with Demand Gen to action MQLs and AI-scored intent signals, applying strict qualification standards so high-value interest never slips through the cracks.
• Speak the Prospect’s Language: Confidently discuss technical architectures, database performance, latency, throughput, scale, and total cost of ownership (TCO). Elevate conversations by translating complex technical advantages into bottom-line business value.
• Drive Market Intelligence: Act as an essential feedback channel between local market dynamics and Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Product teams. Surface real-time observations regarding localized objections, competitive shifts, messaging resonance, and product-market fit.
• Maintain Operational Rigor: Manage your territory with clean data hygiene in Salesforce, tracking account touchpoints, notes, and metrics accurately to sustain predictable, high-velocity outreach.

Who You Are

• Location & Mobility: Based in the United States, with a valid passport and willingness to travel to Latin America as required for key customer meetings, territory planning, and regional industry conferences.
• Bilingual Communicator: Fully fluent in professional Spanish and English (written and spoken). You can pivot seamlessly between engaging a VP of Engineering in English and building executive trust with a LATAM enterprise director in Spanish. (Portuguese proficiency is an added advantage).
• Proven Technical BDR: 2+ years of outbound pipeline generation experience, ideally targeting technical buyers within database infrastructure, cloud platforms, distributed systems, developer tooling, or enterprise SaaS. Proven history of meeting and exceeding outbound quotas.
• True Outbound Hunter: You know how to capture executive attention without relying on canned templates. You speak comfortably as an industry peer, guiding structured, consultative discovery calls that uncover actual pain points.
• AI-Augmented Operator: You actively incorporate generative AI (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) into your daily workflow to accelerate account research, analyze public filings/tech stacks, and personalize outbound messaging at scale.
• Objection-Handler & Strategic Thinker: Quick on your feet on cold calls. You don't freeze when challenged; you use smart, curiosity-driven discovery questions to steer the dialogue toward real technical and business priorities.
• Sharp, Pattern-Breaking Copywriter: You write direct, insightful messages tailored to skeptical engineering leaders who ignore standard sales pitches.
• High Ownership & Team Synergy: Self-directed, resilient, and driven to outperform your targets, while acting as a trusted operational partner to your AEs and marketing counterparts.

Salary Range for Applicants: $90,000 - $120,000 base/variable mix (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
