Bring the valuation expertise. We’ll bring the deal flow and the support. We’re expanding our transaction advisory capabilities to include SBA-compliant business valuations alongside Quality of Earnings work. We’re looking for an experienced valuation professional who can own the valuation process, work directly with SBA lenders, and deliver lender-ready reports—without stepping into a full-time role. Location: US Based - Fully Remote Your Mission: Day to Day Responsibilities Prepare and sign business valuations supporting SBA 7(a) acquisition loans Own valuation methodology, analysis, conclusions, and report quality Review analyst-prepared work and provide clear direction and feedback Communicate directly with SBA lenders and lending teams Answer lender questions and support the valuation through closing Ensure work reflects applicable SOP 50 10 engagement and independence requirements Consistently deliver assignments within approximately 5–10 business days Help strengthen valuation templates, workpapers, and quality-control processes Collaborate with our internal analysts and project-management team Your Toolbox: Skills to be Successful Active CVA, ASA-BV, ABV, CBA, or BCA credential Significant hands-on experience with SBA 7(a) business valuations Strong understanding of SBA lender engagement and independence requirements Ability to independently own methodology and sign final reports Excellent written and verbal communication with lenders Ability to provide redacted sample valuation reports References from SBA lenders or lending teams Strongly preferred: 5+ years of business valuation experience 100+ completed SBA valuations Experience building valuation templates, workpapers, or QC processes Comfortable working with an analyst-supported delivery model Your Perks: What's in it for you Flexible, project-based engagement—hourly or per project Consistent assignment opportunities without a full-time commitment Internal analyst and project-management support Opportunity to help shape and build a growing SBA valuation offering Direct exposure to transaction and lending teams A chance to improve the systems, templates, and processes behind the work—not just produce reports Why Adaptive Teams?
