Best Remote Job Boards for Marketing Jobs (2026)

Remote job boards for marketers compared: Remote Marketing Jobs, Wellfound, Himalayas, Remotive and more, plus our count of 2,595 live remote postings.

TL;DR: For remote marketing jobs, start with Remote Marketing Jobs, a board for fully remote marketing roles, add Wellfound for startups, and use Himalayas, Remotive, Working Nomads or DailyRemote for remote-only listings that show location. On 6 October 2026 our index held 2,595 live remote marketing postings on employers' own careers pages, and 36.1% of them list only the United States, against 31.5% across all professions.

What is different about a remote marketing search

Marketing is not one job. The same index holds brand managers, SEO specialists, growth marketers, content marketers and product marketing managers, and a title like "Marketing Manager" is used for all of them. Search each title you could do, not only the one on your resume.

Marketers are judged by results, so employers want proof. A short portfolio with the campaign, your part in it and a number (traffic, sign-ups, cost per lead) helps more than a list of tools. Our guide to remote marketing jobs covers the skills. If you are a designer, see our job boards for designers.

LinkedIn

What our index shows for marketing

These figures come from our index of live remote postings that employers published themselves on their own careers pages or hiring systems: 49,157 on 6 October 2026, with copies on job boards not counted (see how we check every job). The group holds postings our index files under Marketing Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Growth Marketer, Content Marketer, Brand Manager, SEO Specialist and Marketing Coordinator. Labels are assigned by a model and are loose: a "Marketing Manager" label also holds social media managers and chief marketing officers. "All professions" is the 32,480 postings our index has sorted by profession.

Junior or internship8.6% (222)8.2% (2,671)
Mid-level32.4%24.0%
Senior or above54.7%58.1%

A big field, and more US-only than average. Marketing Manager, with 1,889 postings, is the second-largest of our professions on 6 October 2026. But 36.1% of marketing postings list only the United States and 5.0% say they hire worldwide. Browse live remote marketing manager openings and read what "remote, US only" means.

Pay is stated a little more often. 46.9% of marketing postings state a pay figure of any kind, against 42.3% across all professions. For ranges, see our marketing manager salary page.

Mid-level is a larger share than usual. 32.4% are mid-level, against 24.0% across all professions. Beginners have fewer places: 222 postings (8.6%) are junior or internship level. Marketing Coordinator is a small label (7 postings), so also search "marketing specialist" and "associate".

Counting job boards as well, our index held 4,970 live remote marketing postings on 6 October 2026: 2,595 (52.2%) on employers' own careers pages and 2,375 (47.8%) seen only through job boards. Across all professions the split was 49.6% and 50.4%.

Product marketing: pay is stated most, and it leans US-only

Product Marketing Manager is a label of 293 postings. Among the 44 professions with 200 or more postings, it has the highest share that state pay (59.7%) and the fourth-highest share that list only the United States (41.6%). Only 4.4% are junior or internship level and 72.0% are senior or above.

So the pay is easier to compare, but few of these roles can hire you outside the US. Employers with postings under this label on 6 October 2026 included OpenAI, Veeva, Stripe, Airwallex and ElevenLabs. That is a list of employers with postings, not a trend, and one employer can supply many.

Full-time, contract and freelance work

Of the 2,595 postings, 1,865 stated an employment type on 6 October 2026. A posting can state more than one: 1,677 said full-time, 131 contractor, 30 internship, 27 part-time and 18 temporary. Those are floors, because 730 postings stated no type. One title appeared 13 times as "jr. marketing specialist (contract, remote)".

A contract usually means you invoice the company, pay your own tax and take no paid leave. Read contractor and employee offers compared before you compare rates. For freelance work you sell directly, a portfolio site and a network such as Contra matter more than a resume. Our free resume checker can review the resume you send to employers.

Scams in marketing

Social media and "content" gigs are a common scam. A real employer never asks you to pay to apply, for training, for tools or for equipment. Be careful with offers that need a "starter kit", a paid course or a software license before you can begin, and with a "job" that only asks you to post or like content for pay. Our guide to remote work red flags lists the patterns.

Where remote marketing roles can hire

The table counts postings on 6 October 2026 that say they can hire in a country: they say worldwide, or their list includes it. Postings that say nothing are not counted.

Where RemoteHunt fits

RemoteHunt is not a board you post on. It reads live remote postings from employers' own careers pages and job boards, checks where each one says it can hire, and scores the ones that can hire you from 0 to 100 against your resume, with a written reason. If you have no resume, it builds one with you. It is free to start and you never pay to apply. The 90-day pass ($29 once, no renewal, 14-day refund) opens the company and apply link on every match.
