About the opportunity
Build, maintain, and scale backend services and data pipelines as a Python Software Engineer collaborating with cross-functional teams.
About our client
Our client is a growing organization focused on delivering high-performance technological solutions, leveraging modern backend architectures and scalable data pipelines to drive business success.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask).
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code with a focus on reliability and performance.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and asynchronous background tasks.
- Optimize relational and non-relational database queries (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB).
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
What you bring (must-haves)
- 2–4+ years of professional software development experience using Python.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and ORM tools (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, RESTful APIs, and writing unit/integration tests.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills.
Bonus points for (nice-to-haves)
- Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Exposure to asynchronous programming (asyncio) or message brokers (Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
