Our Account Manager will possess the skills and experience required, as well as a positive attitude and ability to solve complex problems and work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. We value people who are good communicators, quick learners, scrappy about finding creative solutions to problems, and conscious of their work quality. We expect all our team members to deliver excellence in both technical expertise as well as in their everyday relationships with their team. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Qualification and Prospecting
- Qualify inbound leads by identifying client needs and assessing alignment with Baxtel’s data center and advisory solutions.
- Conduct outbound prospecting to develop high-potential leads, focusing on clients that align with Baxtel’s offerings, particularly within database advisory services.
- Use HubSpot and other tools to research accounts, identify key stakeholders, and refine outreach strategies for both mass-market and key accounts. Quote Activity and Proposal Facilitation
- Facilitate quote requests with data center providers, ensuring timely, accurate responses that align with clients’ specific needs.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to prepare proposals that meet customer requirements, including capacity, location, and technical specifications, especially for database advisory services.
- Ensure proposal accuracy and quality, effectively representing Baxtel’s value and meeting client expectations. Sales Activity Coordination
- Support and coordinate ongoing sales activities, managing follow-ups and ensuring qualified leads progress smoothly through the pipeline.
- Partner with Sales, Support, and Marketing teams to develop tailored strategies that align with prospect needs and drive engagement.
- Maintain detailed records in HubSpot of all sales activities, including lead qualification, quotes, proposals, and account interactions. Client Relationship Management
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts, positioning Baxtel as a trusted resource in the data center and database advisory space.
- Provide feedback to Sales Management and Marketing teams on lead progress, client feedback, and emerging market trends. Reporting and HubSpot Management
- Document all prospect interactions, proposals, and quote activities in HubSpot, ensuring visibility and accuracy for the team.
- Generate regular reports on qualitative and quantitative metrics, sharing insights on lead quality, proposal success, and opportunities for process improvement. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in account management, sales development, opportunity development, or business development, ideally within technology or data center industries
- Strong research skills and proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused approach to proposal facilitation
- Highly organized, with strong time management skills to handle lead volume, follow-ups, and proposal coordination
- Knowledge of data center industry dynamics, especially hyperscaler, AI, cloud provider needs, and database advisory services.
