About the Role
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who is confident on both sides of the stack - building modern, high-performance interfaces with Vue 3 / Nuxt and developing reliable backend solutions with Node.js. You should be comfortable taking a feature from idea to production: understanding the requirements, making technical decisions, building APIs and frontend functionality, working with databases and integrations, and ensuring the final solution is scalable and maintainable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Vue 3, Nuxt, and Node.js.
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, server-side logic, and integrations using Node.js.
- Build dynamic, content-driven pages integrated with Strapi and other CMS solutions.
- Design and implement REST APIs and ensure reliable communication between frontend and backend services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, and other backend business logic.
- Work with databases, optimize queries, and ensure data consistency and performance.
- Develop and maintain SSR applications and implement modern frontend and backend best practices.
- Optimize application performance, page speed, Core Web Vitals, API response times, and overall system performance.
- Implement state management using Pinia and ensure efficient data flow between frontend and backend.
- Work with Nitro server routes and middleware where appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and other engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making across the frontend and backend.
- Conduct code reviews and help maintain high engineering standards across the team.
- Improve code quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability of existing products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend and backend issues in production environments.
- Contribute to technical documentation, development standards, and knowledge-sharing within the engineering team.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of commercial experience in Full Stack development (Mid level) or 5+ years (Senior level).
- Strong commercial experience with Vue 3 and hands-on experience with Nuxt 3.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js and modern Node.js frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript across both frontend and backend.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience working with Headless CMS solutions such as Strapi or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of SSR, hydration, and server-side rendering architecture.
- Experience with Pinia state management.
- Familiarity with Nitro server routes and middleware.
- Experience with backend architecture, API design, authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, and data processing.
- Experience working with databases and ORM/ODM solutions.
- Strong understanding of semantic HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with Vite, ESLint, Prettier, and modern Git workflows.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Understanding of web security and common API security practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Design, Backend/Frontend, and QA teams.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of Nuxt 4 architecture and migration principles will be considered a strong advantage.
- Experience migrating projects from Nuxt 3 to Nuxt 4.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience working with Nuxt modules such as @nuxtjs/strapi, @nuxt/image, or Tailwind modules.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with Node.js frameworks such as NestJS, Express, Fastify, or similar.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
- Experience with Redis or other caching solutions.
- Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with message brokers or asynchronous processing.
- Previous experience within iGaming, affiliate marketing, or high-traffic projects.
