NBD Designer

BASIC FUNCTION: New Business Development is looking for a Designer to create beautiful client presentations and design campaigns. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, thrive in a fast paced deadline-driven environment, have a strong visual eye and impeccable design detail, and excellent typography skills. This Designer will work with the Creative Lead to design and produce primarily print/digital materials and work with our New Business Development team to bring those designs to reality. SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support Design & Creative Manager and Sr. Director in assembling presentations, proposals, and creative assets Responsible for ensuring execution of all phases of design project needed for project completion (developing comps, producing illustrations, etc.) Develop design solutions that demonstrate creative excellence for all phases of the design process (from concept to final execution) Produce attractive and effective designs across multiple media channels Collaborate with sales and operational teammates on presentation deliverables and strategy, overseen by NBD Design Lead Design Supplemental Collateral to support ongoing NBD pursuits Create Marketing Materials to support growth and outreach Assist with design requests from internal and operations partners as needed Maintain NBD design library including images, marketing materials, presentations, and other creative assets Other duties as assigned PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Ensure projects are completed on-time, taking into account team review needs and strict client deadlines. Ensure that all work maintains the high quality standards demanded by NBD. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal clients and potentially vendors to ensure the level of service quality always exceeds expectations. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Graphic Design (or equivalent design experience). 2-5 years graphic design industry experience. Portfolio demonstrating creativity and skill relative to experience. NBD PROJECT NEEDS OVERVIEW: Print & Digital Presentations – Pres Books, Creative Books, Playbooks & PPTs EDS Boards Supplemental Collateral – Org Charts, Distribution Maps, Timelines, Checklists, Meet the Team, etc Marketing Materials – One Sheeters, Case Studies, Partnership Overviews, etc Production Art / Product Design / Line Drawings Packaging Design Brand Research & Alignment Brand Application Trend & Demo Research Photo Editing & Manipulation Creative & Pattern Development Uniform Design Supplier Management Client online portal development REQUIRED SKILLS: Competency with Mac Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, & Illustrator Microsoft Office – Word & PPT Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work across multiple formats ie: print, web, 3D, etc. Some creative industry experience Ability to work independently and fully own assignments Maintain positive, team-focused attitude and collaborate with other creatives Curiosity and willingness to try new techniques; offers creative solutions to complex design problems Writing, Editing & Proofreading Skills (desired, not necessary)
