Senior .NET Developer - Remote - 3 Months - Octopus by RTG - Immediate Hire

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies, backend development, software architecture, and database management, with the ability to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using .NET and C#. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services. Design and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and data models.

Apply software engineering best practices, including clean code, design patterns, and SOLID principles. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions and architectural improvements. Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability. Write and maintain technical documentation.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in .NET and C#. Strong experience with ASP.NET Core and Web API development.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, object-oriented programming (OOP), and software design principles. Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server and writing optimized SQL queries. Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

Experience with Git and version control systems. Familiarity with unit testing, debugging, and automated testing practices. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team.
