We want to create a brand that — if you want to build the foundation of content from 0 to 1, have a passion for AI, and love writing, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Create exceptional and captivating content across Consumer and Enterprise use cases, including email copy, social media posts, in-product copy, support pages, FAQs, video scripts, case studies, white papers, outbound emails, onboarding guides, and blog posts
  • Develop a unique voice and tone for written content at Perplexity that drives word-of-mouth growth and builds an engaged following
  • Identify content opportunities and novel ways to engage with our user base by leveraging user generated content in Perplexity and testimonials across social media
  • Synthesize complex AI-related topics and feature releases into understandable and digestible copy for a non-technical audience
  • Manage content calendars for external communication across email, newsletter, and social media
  • Track content performance via Google Analytics and internal data; analyze and optimize engagement metrics of your content
  • Work closely with our Design and Brand teams to adhere to current guidelines

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of content writing and strategy experience, ideally at a consumer technology brand
  • World-class writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a unique voice and tone
  • Extreme attention to detail paired without sacrificing fast-paced execution
  • 0-to-1 development of B2B content marketing, newsletters, blogs, and company content
  • Experience with international brands and multiple languages
