About OraLux OraLux™ is a US-based oral wellness brand helping thousands of customers support healthier gums at home. We are building a private member community where our customers learn, share their progress, and get straight answers about gum health, and we are looking for a licensed dentist to be its trusted voice. The Role You will host a live “Ask a Dentist” Q&A session once a week, a maximum of one hour, answering member-submitted questions about gum health in clear, friendly, plain English. Questions are collected and prioritised in advance, so you always know what is coming. As a plus, between sessions you will drop into the community forum to answer a handful of written member questions. This is light and async, on your own schedule, roughly twenty to thirty minutes once a week. What You Will Talk About Gum recession, bleeding, sensitivity, and everyday gum health, explained simply. How members can get the most out of their at-home routine, with honest expectations and realistic timelines. Habits that help and habits that hurt gum health. What members should ask their own dentist at their next visit. Important: sessions are general education, never personal medical advice or diagnosis. We provide a full content brief, claims guidelines and disclaimer language. You will never be asked to make product claims or to act as a treating dentist for members. What We Are Looking For Non-negotiable: you are a licensed dentist (DDS, DMD, BDS or country equivalent) with an active, verifiable license. This search is worldwide and open to any country, but the license is the one requirement we will not flex on. Fluent spoken English, comfortable explaining clinical concepts in everyday language to a general US audience. Great on camera, warm, patient, and natural on a live video call. Reliable availability for a fixed weekly one-hour slot, with US-friendly evening or weekend hours preferred, plus stable internet and a decent camera and microphone. Comfortable being recorded, since sessions are recorded for the community and selected clips may be used in our content, all covered in the agreement. Nice to Have A periodontics background or a special interest in gum health. Experience creating patient-education content on YouTube, social, courses, or webinars. Experience with online communities or telehealth. How the Engagement Works This is a part-time contractor role of roughly two to three hours per week in total, made up of one live session, light forum participation, and brief preparation. We intend a long-term collaboration on the same weekly slot as the community grows. The position is fully remote and worldwide. Compensation is discussed during the application, so please share your rate expectations, per session or per month.
