Looking for Philippines-based candidates Job Role: Digital Marketing Manager Compensation range: $1,500 AUD - $2,500 AUD / Monthly Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are

At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency.

All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home. Who The Client Is: Our client is a well-established Australian water management network specialising in irrigation, pumping, filtration, and water treatment solutions. With a broad network of locally owned stores across Australia and New Zealand, they support residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural customers—from system design and equipment supply through to installation, servicing, and technical support.

Driven by a strong focus on expertise, quality, innovation, and sustainable water management, the organisation works closely with customers and industry partners to deliver practical, efficient solutions for a wide range of water-related needs.an independently owned franchise within the national network, providing plumbing, reticulation, pumping, and water treatment services across a regional Western Australian market.

The business also operates a separate landscaping and turf supply arm, including a turf farm and hardscape construction. The team has grown from 10 to 20 staff and is actively expanding to additional sites. Marketing has been managed by the owner alongside limited franchise head office support. This role is the business's first dedicated marketing hire and represents a significant step in building a scalable growth engine across both brands.

Role Overview

This role owns the full digital marketing function across two brands. A local content creator handles on-the-ground video and photography. This person takes that raw material and turns it into a high-performing digital presence — paid ads, organic social, email campaigns, automations, and lead generation systems.

Each offering has its own audience, positioning and go-to market approach. Campaigns, content and brand voice need to be built and run independently per offering rather than collapsed into one generic marketing motion - this is a key reason the role spans across ‘two brands’ throughout the document.

The right candidate will assess what's currently in place, identify gaps and quick wins, build out systems and workflows in Go High Level, and manage ongoing campaign performance. This is a hands-on, autonomous role with significant scope to shape the marketing direction of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Advertising Manage paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads, including campaign setup, audience targeting, creative production, budget allocation, and ongoing optimisation. Monitor and report on return on ad spend (ROAS), cost per lead, and conversion metrics.

Continuously test and iterate on ad creative, copy, and targeting to improve performance. Run campaigns tailored to distinct service offerings across both brands (e.g. plumbing services, reticulation, turf supply, hardscape construction). Organic Social Media Manage social media channels for both brands, including content scheduling, posting, community engagement, and responding to enquiries and direct messages.

Repurpose raw video footage and photography from the local content creator into platform-optimised posts, reels, stories, and ad creatives. Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with seasonal demand, promotions, and business priorities. Graphic Design and Content Production Create graphics for social media, paid ads, email campaigns, and in-store promotional materials using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

Perform light video editing to produce short-form social content, ad creatives, and promotional clips from supplied raw footage. Maintain visual consistency across both brands while adapting creative to suit each brand's audience and market positioning. Email and SMS Campaigns Plan and execute email and SMS campaigns to the existing customer database, including campaign strategy, copywriting, list segmentation, and performance analysis.

Develop automated nurture sequences and re-engagement campaigns to drive repeat business, cross-selling, and referrals from existing customers. Go High Level (GHL) Setup and Management Activate and configure the business's existing Go High Level account, including CRM setup, contact management, pipeline configuration, and workflow automations.

Build lead capture funnels, automated follow-up sequences, and internal notification workflows to streamline the path from enquiry to quote. Migrate existing lead capture processes (currently flowing through Smartsheets to email) into GHL for centralised management and tracking. Train internal team members on relevant GHL features as systems are rolled out.

SEO and Search Visibility Support on-page SEO including keyword research, meta descriptions, page titles, and content optimisation, coordinating with franchise head office SEO activity where relevant. Stay across developments in generative engine optimisation (GEO) and AI-driven search, and make recommendations on how the business can maintain visibility as search behaviour evolves.

Lead Generation and Reporting Own the top-of-funnel lead generation process, ensuring warm leads are captured, qualified, and handed off to the internal quoting team efficiently. Deliver regular performance reports covering key metrics across all channels: ROAS, cost per lead, audience growth, engagement rates, email open and click rates, and lead volume.

Proactively research and recommend new channels, strategies, and tools to support the business's growth objectives, including referral programs and cross-selling opportunities. Strategy & Funnel Development Work closely with leadership to understand the strategy behind each business unit Build a marketing funnel per division/service line — target audience, copy, creative, ads, and landing pages Continuously test and refine each funnel to improve results over time Website Management Build and maintain websites for each business unit/brand — not just the primary brand, but landscaping, turf, plumbing, and other service lines that need their own presence Create and maintain campaign landing pages Keep all sites current on an ongoing basis, coordinating with SEO activity below 3+ years of experience in a digital marketing generalist role, ideally working with SMEs, trades, or service-based businesses.

Demonstrated experience with Go High Level, including CRM configuration, funnel building, and marketing automation. Proven track record managing Meta and Google Ads campaigns with measurable ROI outcomes. Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.

Comfortable with light video editing for social media content. Experience with email and SMS marketing, including segmentation and automation. Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable operating autonomously with minimal supervision.

Strong English communication skills — written and verbal. Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to leverage them for efficiency and insight. Tools and Platforms Go High Level (CRM, automations, funnels) — this is a priority skill for this role Meta Business Suite (Facebook and Instagram advertising and organic management) Google Ads and Google Analytics Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite Video editing software (e.g.

CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve) AI tools — the team uses Claude internally; familiarity with AI-assisted workflows is valued Smartsheets (current lead capture — will be migrated to GHL) Ascendo/Freeway (franchise operations platform — exposure is a bonus, not required) Work Arrangement & Expectations: This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement. To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to: Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
